I joined the Marines right after high school. Did my time and I'm now married to a Marine. Job wise, I'm in law school and I work part time as a law clerk.
I grew up in a trailer park in Arkansas. I got a job at a local strip club and danced my way into my husband's heart when we has visiting while on leave ;-) I always knew he was my ticket out of that shithole.
Full-time college student with 4 part-time jobs. McDonald's breakfast shift 3x per week, aide in the moderately to severe handicapped room in the local elementary, locker room worker at our college gym (washing the athlete's bags of clothes and checking out towels and equipment,) and finally a student phone representative in the admission's office. On top of all that I was a student athlete in two sports as well. When not in school I also taught preschool in the CDC of our state's federal building and was a nanny to a family with 4 kids (3 were triplets).
I was living the good life. I had just gradguated from HS and moved to NC to work at my Aunt and Uncles restaurant. I lived right on the beach and had no worries. :)
We married right after high school. I worked part time for a few months. Then moved out here. Now we have a 1 year old and i just finished my medical billing and coding cert.
I worked at starbucks and at a mortgage servicing company. I made almost as much as my husband makes now. Ohhhh the single days. Now im in nursing school and trying to find a part time job at night.
Attended classes at UN(R) during the day, worked at a Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe on the weekends for the free ski pass and at a couple restaurants in town at night.
I worked in dermatology assisting in surgeries. Met my husband right before I was planning to sign the line to join the army, and he asked me to give him a chance first, and well the rest is history though now we fight about me still wanting to join, but that is passed now that I'm pregnant with kid number 3 and so I've finally accepted it.

I was a high school student before then. But I havent let getting married stop me from doing anything. I've graduated college and had a career for several years.
I was working two jobs and going to school full time. Lady Foot Locker and Ruby Tuesday. Couldn't figure out how to manage it all when I got married and got pregnant soon after. So I took a break from all of it for about 3 years which I shouldn't have done and now am back on track!
