My husband has started having his checks go into a bank account I have no access to. We have 2 kids and he tells me he wont buy stuff like food and diapers unless I have sex with him. Is there anything I can do to get access to at least some of the money? Any advice/info would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

Now that's going to great lengths to get laid.

More sex?

fyreflii1984 --- 12 years ago -

I caught him cheating on me about a month ago and I refuse to sleep with him!

bigmamaperry --- 12 years ago -

you can got to his higher ups and tell them what is going on or the Chaplin

GardenWitch --- 12 years ago -

Tell him he either accepts the fact you are disgusted with the thought of sex with him or you will call the command, report his cheating and the fact he's denying his family food and basic necessities.

Or just have sex with him and barf on him.

Troll

fyreflii1984 --- 12 years ago -

I caught him cheating in person, but the only way for him to actually get in any trouble would be video tape or pics of penetration!!! Its stupid! I have called his command but they will not call me back. I have thought about just showing up there but even then I wouldnt know who to talk to. Ive talked to the FRO but thats gone nowhere. I was going to file for divorce but the Marine Corps no longer allows u to file or represents u...

I'm pretty sure he has to help pay for that too. Plus there are places that will help you get on your feet since it's this kind of living enviorment.

You can go to the Family Facilitators Office at the Vista Court House. I believe they have the Divorce workshops on Thursday mornings. They will give you plenty of information and you can get advice from the facilitator and from there you can self-represent yourself (in pro per). I self-represented myself when I divorced my ex-husband back in 2008. I self-represented myself for many years as I was still building my career until last year when I finally was able to comfortably afford an attorney. There’s a gentlemen facilitator who’s very knowledgeable on differentiating military legalities vs civilian legalities. While filling forms with the facilitator they will ask if you need a fee waiver form. With the fee waiver form approved, the fees for filing the paper and other future fees for a certain period of time will be waived. I was a waitress and a college student and a mother of 2 (bearing his children)when I divorced my ex-husband and my fee waiver was approved, they’ll let you know if you’re approved on the spot at the cashiers’ office.

Best of luck to you.

Maybe make a flyer make 1000 copies put them up all over his unit. :) I'm sure that will get someones attention.

Call the Fro, not his SNCO. What he is doing is emotional abuse (forcing you to have sex would be physical abuse) Lejeune has a family services/advocacy program but I'm not sure what's available here. The Fro should be able to help with that.

Otherwise play nice for awhile, get the account info then run like he!!.

I would keep calling the command until they answer!!

CivMP --- 12 years ago -

put on your most raggety clothing, kids in diapers and a ratty blanket to keep them warm.

also, take an onion, and cut it up right before you go inside so that you are crying.

Show up at your hubby's unit and tell them you have no food or money.

vnessa --- 12 years ago -

You have to go on base and talk to his command, once your there someone has to listen to you, be smart and collect as many proof as you can of the abuse/infidelity, record him on your phone when he threatens you to not give you any money if you dont have sex with him. What a jerk.
