We moved in April 2012. And starting in July my husband has a TON of training coming up, and i really want to go back to school so i was thinking of moving back home. (where i don't have to pay for child care) My only concern is can i break our current initial lease of 6 months? Is there a fee? ( i imagine there is ) Any info would be greatly appreciated.

( i don't have a copy of our current lease to read or else i would, i'll make hubs go get a copy when he wakes up lol)

If your husband has new orders you can break a lease with no cost but with out that you are at the mercy of the company you want to break the lease with. I would give them a call.

thanks. technically no 'new' orders. he's just been pending orders since last october. ( has some major surgeries.)

$250 to break the lease on top of move-out charges (if you lived there less than 6 months); if he has orders then there is no fee, but you will have move-out charges (if they apply to your house).

if you are in an area with concessions you will have to pay them all back as well.

all

curiousity, all being every month they recieved of it, or just the one full month?

Every month you received the concession you will have to pay back those checks, plus the $250 and any move out charges.

Oh wow, we live in stuart mesa, but don't get a concession because we opted for the 3bedroom instead of 2. but thats crazy to have to pay back the monthly ones, i understand maybe paying back the larger ones. (like the 3000 pacific view, or atleast part of it)
