After you take a shower do you hang up your towel to use the next day, or is it "dirty" and you wash them every time?
We reuse...but my sis is coming to visit and my Mom said I should make sure I have extras. Even the one she wraps her hair in is dirty and gets washed every time.
I will only reuse the one I use my hair with. But that is only at my house. I would NEVER do that at someone else's house. It doesn't gross me out, I just like to use my towel once.
This, I broke my husband of using a new one every time by NOT doing the towels. I don't see the problem with it you are clean when you get out of the shower, as long as you don't throw it in the floor the towel is still clean.
My husband does, I don't, and usually the kids don't either since their towels (after they dry off)usually end up on the bathroom floor absorbing all the water that was splashed out.
The Marine Corps taught me that it was ok to use one single towel with only washing it once a week.
Funny my husband did this until he got married. Now he uses a towel once and leaves it on the ground.
The kids always get a new towel, I think I'm the only one in the house that reuses actually (though, to my surprise there was a towel hanging up today, and I'm pretty sure my husband used it yesterday-- that's unheard of if he was going to use it again)
A friend of mine told me the other day when we were talking about this, she had a point... you dry yourself w/ the same towel you dry your buttcrack with? Unless you have your towel labeled Butt and Face to know which side is which, you pretty much are. Now, makes me wanna wash my towel at least every other day or something other than once a week.
