I just recently moved into Stuart Mesa 2 and started noticing strange things off the bat. For startrets I always have the feeling that someone is watching me and not it's not my kids. I am a huge candle fan and I have blown out my candles to come back in the kitchen and find them burning again. My kids aren't old enough or big enough to reach the lighter and they definitely don't know how to use it. The past couple of nights random lights in my house have been flickering on and off......has anyone else in the area experienced anything like this or am I only unlucky one here. I am new to the base and new to these kind of occurances. 

Most of base housing is believed to be haunted. 

What a lame ghost. Be original ghosts, do something new for once.

Stuart Mesa 2 is, but that doesn't mean the land it is on isn't haunted.

I did read the other threads on stuart mesa and i am totally freaked out. I dont do well with ghosts, or anthing scary for that matter. I wish i would have seen this before i moved here. i probably would have had my husband pick a different negihborhood. 

I live in Stuart Mesa and the only time I've ever been scared was went I went to bed and my husband was in the other room and I felt a dark presesnt standing and moving next to me ( almost like it was hunching over me) on the side of the bed. It was demonic dark I've never felt so scared and threatened. I called out for help with prayer and it went away just that fast and never came back,Thank God!After I ran to where my husband was and jumped in his lap crying.

Yes, many of the homes in Stuart Mesa are haunted in one way or another. We've lived there 3 different times over the course of 10+years. Lived on Williams Ct., Parker Rd., and Powers St. Each house we have had "visitors." The most active house was when we lived on Williams Ct. We had black figures show up in my daughters room, saw them walking uo the stairs and disappearing into the bathroom, a Victorian lady. I think the black figures were something evil/dark/ That was where we were living when my daughter came down with serious health issues and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and Vasculitis. On Parker, there was a lil girl with long hair that would sometimes stand at the top of the stairs looking down and sometimes we'd catch her walking around from the corner of our eyes. On WIlliams Ct. we saw figures come and go, cold breezes out of nowhere, things moving and sounds made. 

i have heard of the little girl with the long hair and also did an investigation on a house that had a haunting by her and also a demonic entity. but what you have to realize is that not all entities are evil they may do things to get you attention like touch you show themselves to the less dominate one in the house in most cases they will not show themselves to the dominate one in the house. in most cases they are not what we call demonic they are just angry/disturbed. if you know anyone that wants us to come out and just take a look we will be more than happy to come out 

I dont believe in any of that stuff but I have to say I'm kinda glad I didn't move into an area where I ever got the chance to find out it's real. Creepy. 

There were 3 dark figures that would go up the stairs and disappear into the bathroom. Then there were some that would go into my daughters bedroom. They look like the "dementors" in Harry Potter. They would sometime show up in every corner of her room at night. When they did, usually there was a Victorian lady that would sit at the foot of my daughters bed and rub her leg and tell her it was going to be ok. They visited quite often. 

what area of camp Pendleton do you live in can tell you if the area is haunted or has had a haunting there because most of camp Pendleton is haunted ranging from talega to delmar area. 

You might check out Kilgore St. in Stuart Mesa. I think the addy was 113 or something with the number 13 in it. Before we moved into the house on Powers, we were offered the house on Kilgore and was told that there was a death that occured in that house. 

When we last lived on base, we lived in North De Luz housing on Pusan Dr. 

My husbands lucky number is 13.

Nothing weird has ever happened in my house and I live in Stuart Mesa. Actually nothing like that has ever happened to me period. But I don't believe in ghosts, I believe the Bible and when you die, you die. The only "things" people see are demons and its because they have an open door in their life to that kind of thing. Call me crazy, but if you guys can sit there and say you see ghosts then dnt say I'm weird for believing the Bible lol. I know nobody asked for my advice but if I could say one thing it would be to stop chasing ghosts. Stop researching it, thinking about it and dwelling on it cuz nothing good will come out of it. You or people you know should not be seeing or sensing evil spirits or anything that looks like a ghost. Its demonic and you really dnt want to be messing with that stuff. 

The Bowling Alley on base is haunted, not sure who you have to talk to about that.

i just dnt see how you could possibly know that. i mean what do you base your theories on? i base mine on the bible thats why i ask, it specifically talks about this kind of thing. and i know not everyone will agree with my beliefs. and im not a bible thumper or anything, im just sharing my thoughts like everyone else here is, so please guys dnt jump down my throat because of it. i dnt really want to debate or anything i was genuinely curious :) 

i base my theories on facts coming from theologists who work for the church to explain these things. 

just wondering is it the catholic church?
