To each their own....but I think that Uggs looks like martian boots. I mean...they look ok..I tried on a pair and can't help but to think of martian boots lol. So, who does or does not own a pair of Uggs...or similar Ugg boots?

BTW; the look HORRIBLE with sweats ...sloppy lol. They look ok with jeans. Jmo so don't get all defensive!

hell yeah, original aussie made uggs (my sister sends them to me) but the rule is they are to be worn at home only! i could never understand women wearing them near a beach while wearing shorts/mini skirts

My feet get horribly cold, I have such poor circulation. That was why I bought my first pair (I moved to 29 Palms at the time in the middle of winter). I wear when it's really cold out and never ever would I even leave the house in sweats....Just not my thing. 

I have Fuggs...fake uggs :) I originally got some in high school when I played water polo during the winter and would wear them when I got out of the pool at night. The ones I have now I only wear maybe two weeks out of the year and only with jeans over them.

I have been on vacation this week in Hawaii and there is an Uggs store nearby. There is a line every night to get in there, its ridiculous! They have purple sparkly ones though. I really want them but I would probably never wear them! Haha 

My daughter has three pairs. They look really cute on her. From what I've noticed, if you're a cute person they look good with an appropriate outfit.

That's sad. My husband would never say that he wouldn't be seen with me because of my choice in boots.

And really, you wouldn't been seen with your wife if she looked like the ladies below? Like I said, if you're cute, then you'll look cute with UGGs. If you're already ugly and frumpy then you probably can't pull them off.







 

I own two pairs and love them both. I got my first pair when I went to college in NY and my second pair when we pcsed to MN. My first pair that i have is now almost 10 years old and still look pretty much like new, they may cost more but you get an amazing product that last. I had a fake pair in high school that fell apart in about a year. 

I have real uggs, and when I am cold I rock them with black leggings or jeans. I don't really care " how cute I look" if I slip them on to run and get coffee, gas, etc. they are like sticking your toes into clouds of warm fluff. Awesome by far my favorite when I am cold. 

Yes, but haven't worn them in a year or so. Bearpaw also makes boots similar to Ugg boots, but they get...frumpy quick. 

I don't like the regular Uggs. I think they are ugly. But I do love my crochet fold over ones.

And for every one of those chicks she posted in those pictures, they all dress and look exactly the same, like sheep. Someone said here wear these, they're cool,and they all said ok.
Now almost every damn woman wants to dress and look just like them, but by the time they do, it is usually an out dated style, the people they are "trying" to dress like don't wear that crap anymore, and it's on to the next gimmick...
As I said before, I wouldn't be seen in public if my wife was trying to dress just like every yuppy chick she saw on "E" or any of those other gossip shows.
Not saying those women aren't attractive, but doesn't seem a one of them has a mind of their own....

They became such a hit because of the fact that when you slip your feet into them, it's like wrapping them in cashmere. You can tell you're a dude. You just don't understand the way of female fashion. Most of us aren't being sheep, we are picking things we think are cute. How many women really pick something up just because celebs are wearing them? NONE when they think the item is ugly.

I dont understand why people wear them HERE ... its not possibly cold enough - I feel like your feet would get sweaty ... maybe?

Oh please, please, please post pics of your wife's personally designed, handmade clothing. I'm sure that's all she has. Surely she's not guilty of wearing something others wear or she can't have a mind of her own, and then you couldn't leave the house with her. So sad.

Actually I've laughed whenever you posted something. I cant imagine my husband knowing anything about women's fashion, or even what UGGs are, so it's been pretty funny.

Don't think I would have linked wearing UGGs to not having a mind of your own though. I think lots of things people wear are ugly. To me people seem more individualistic when they make such a choice. 

I just used that example because of the way she used the girls in those pictures above as an excuse that they "look cute."
I kind of went on a tangent after that, admittedly... my bad.

Maybe not the best reasoning in the world, but I am sure there are thousands of girls that will wear uggs solely for the reason that those girls in the above pictures are wearing them. Not saying that applies to anyone in this thread reading this, with exception of the person who posted those pictures.

I'm just of the mindset of, why on earth would you want to wear the same shite as everyone else?
