Where do you get your supply?

My daughter had her exam today and she is on a 5 day pair till we go back next Saturday for a follow up. then the dr will write her a scrip.

for a 3 mth supply its $65 ish..not to bad.

And I'm sure she told me for a year its over 400!!! That CANT be right can it? Maybe I heard her wrong.

She is on the one a day ones.

Braydens Mommy --- 13 years ago -

The one a day contacts are more expensive for sure.
I'm on the 2-3 week contacts and I wear mine for 3-4 months before I change them. Probably not the best, but it works for me. I soak them each night and put them back in the next morning.

I get mine from 1-800- contacts. I do the 2 week ones and they work great. I can see how 1 days will add up to that much since you need so many pairs.

Hmmm we chose te one a day first so she could get use to wearing them and what not.

But man, are they REALLY that much more? thats crazy!

Can you order them online or do you have to send a copy of the script in?

julie --- 13 years ago -

Order online and they will contact the doctor to make sure the script is right.

Thank You!

Im assuming 4 boxes for each eye will last a year.

and on contacts.com its over $400 that is crazy, I had NO idea lol

I wonder if I can change the type of contact without having to pay another fitting fee?

Ipswitch --- 13 years ago -

I do the one month ones. But i have astigmatism in both eyes so its more. And mine cost me about $20 a month.
But my sister doesnt have astigmatism and hers are much cheaper. I wear acuvue and she wears softlens. I used to wear soflens. They are cheaper ive noticed.
I use 1800 contacts or lens.com (they usually have good discounts on more boxes which you would need)

I don't think they will charge you. Acuve makes the 1 a day i believe and you can get the 2 weeks or month from them. They should fit the same just last longer.

I did not know you could!? Lens.com was under $300 at least! ;)

Yea every night take them out and soak them. I have the 2 week ones and have worn them longer because i take them out every night. If there not taken out every night her eyes will get really dry and irritated.

And you can use any contact cleaner right? I have been reading and some wear their one a days for a week or two with soaking every night.

saywhat?! --- 13 years ago -

I use bio true contact solution. I've been wearing contacts for years and it's the best. It's also the most gentle I've ever used. If she has trouble with her contacts burning then you can get a special solution and special contact case that you CAN'T PUT IN YOUR EYES...you can ONLY soak the contacts in them. It eats all of the proteins off the lens. If you do that they must soak for a minimum of 8 hours. It works wonders!

Trace --- 13 years ago -

I also used militarycontacts.net . The first time I ordered I emailed them a copy of the rx but to reorder is a breeze and I get them in less than a week.

TweedleDee2 --- 13 years ago -

So my hubby has to call about www.militarycontacts.com his account was locked due to me trying to log on lol

Can someone just get on there and check the price of the Daileys for me? I just want to price compare for now.

He will have to call when he gets in from the field next week.

but but each eye is 3.25

Message me if you want. Thanks I appreciate all the feedback!!
