Have you been through with your husband? 

next yr will be 8 

My husband has been in 4 years (I've been with him the whole time) and we've been fortunate enough to not go through one yet. I am still amazed and thankful every day. He has one more year on his contract. 

Zero until Nov! He has been through 6 with me. 

My hubby has been to Iraq and on a MEU. 

3 in 6 years 

19 years and a total of 9 

Two in the first three years of our marriage. He's been with a non-deployable unit for over 3 1/2 years. I've gotten a little spoiled having him around. 

its been 3 in 5 years for us all combat deployments 

4 in 6 years. 

He's done 6, I've done 3. We were together through the last 4 of his, 2 of mine. 

1 so far. #2 coming up way too fast

same here.. he deployed 2 times before our son turned 2. went to edson range for 3 years and then got orders to go recruiting.. we have been very lucky so far 

3 in the 4 years we've been married. 

1 in 6 years, it was a MEU. 

He's due to deploy for a year in a few months. This one is gonna be the hardest of all. He's devastated he's missing our daughters HS graduation and her starting college. :( 

Just 1 so far (in 3 1/2 years) and I am thankful because he is trying to lat-move to a combat MOS where he would be gone A LOT. So it's nice to have him home while it lasts. We've been long distance a lot of our relationship. 

We have been married 4.5 years, and he is on his 5th deployment! 

I did 11 in 22 yrs.

Married all 22 yrs, divorced when i retired. 

Third one is starting now. He's been home 16 months since the last one, but before that deployment he had 3 months in between deployments. And this is the last one ever hopefully.. since he is planning on getting out, right after he gets home from this deployment.

My husband wishes he had the opportunity to deploy more. He has done only 1 in 11 years.

Just out of curiosity (and nosiness) were you guys doing well until you retired?

This is a legitimate question because I want to punch my husband (not literally) sometimes after just being home for leave lol.

Do you guys remember the cafe mom girl who said her husband deployed 8 times in 9 years or something like that? She was counting field ops. That was so awesome. I laughed so hard that night.

I would think that having him home ALL THE TIME got a little hard. My husband leaves just about every other year, and lots of TAD time, field time, so Im used to all those breaks. I dont know how I would feel if he never left. LOL
