Both of my children are enrolled in EFMP, one is category 4 the other is category 5. We've been here at Pendleton for almost 7 years just because of where my husband happened to be assigned. Hes reenlisting and the potential to PCS is clearly there but there are only so many places we can go based on our sons EFMP statuses. One has type 1 diabetes and the other has autism. I'm assuming we'll be CONUS if we move do you know if Camp Lejeune has services for either of those?

Don't quote me on this, but I am nearly 100% positive Lejeune DOES have facilities either at the naval hospital or out in town (possible Wilmington) to treat both children.

My daughter has autism and we came from Lejeune where she was being serviced. I personally know a few people in Lejeune who have type 1 diabetes and have been there for years. Most people get funneled out to the civilian clinics around the town rather than the Naval Hospital there because it's so full but sometimes not. Either way, there are places they can be serviced for both conditions.

You'll be able to PCS pretty much anywhere in the US and be able to get services. Neither are rare disorders.

We have a type 1 daughter also celiac. Just moved to CA from Lejeune. They do have facilities for them. Our Endo was in Wilmington. They also have a pediatric endo in Greenville.

29 Palms does not have a pediatric endo within 70 miles so you will not be going there.
