Sorry for another pregnancy thread, but couldn't find anything recent. Im still thinking about switching to tricare standard for pregnancy number two. How much does it actually cost I read the maternity fact sheet, but is it 150 deductible every visit, and hospitalization, or is it only at the end? Also I had complications with my c-section the first time will they make me wait till 41 weeks to schedule it? TIA

All standard care is 100% covered. Any testing you choose to have done outside of normal standard care testing will be out of pocket. There is also a hospital stay fee which is like $20/day or something like that. As far as your csection it depends on your ob, generally they try to schedule them around 38-40 weeks for a normal routine section.

I had standard, was being seen out in town. I didn't have to pay for anything. Everything was covered including my four day stay after my c-section.

If you are having a scheduled C-section, no, you will not go to your due date. Depending on the doc's policy and your medical history, you'll be scheduled for delivery a week to 10 days before your actual due date.

I just had a baby in September on standard. Everything is covered except your room and board. That's $18/day.
