Has anyone been to the European Wax Center over by Toys 'R Us? If so what did you think of it? What kind of wax did they use (hard or soft)? Also, what are some other places that give good waxes? I'm thinking about going and want to find a good one.

Beehive in Carlsbad does an amazing job. For face, you have the choice between hard and soft. I go soft because my skin is so sensitive. And for brazilians, they never gave me a choice and just use a hard wax. I don't know if they do soft for that too. You also get little goody bag with a free panty each time lol.

I actually prefer the hard wax as it seems to have a "cleaner" finish, so that's not a problem. I looked at some of their reviews and saw that a few people had a problem with "leftovers". Did you have that problem with your brazilian? Also, how effecient were they with the hard wax? Lots of little pulls or were they able to get a corner quickly?

Beehive!

I've never had a problem with leftovers. Honestly, Beehive (I see Cara) does the least painful Brazilian I've ever had. And they're very efficient. If you go in early, they'll give you little numbing cream packets too and they include them in their little goody bag.

I see Tammy. She was a beehive for many years (since they opened) and last year opened her own place. It's right down the road from the Beehive but she's cheaper. (760) 434-9600

Thanks.

I go to Champagne skin lounge in Carlsbad. Nicole is amazing! When i first moved here i went to beehive for about a year. Never had any problems. But a friend referred me to nicole. She is quick an efficient. Least amount of pain ive ever had. And i pay $35 each wax. Beehive is good and you get free panties. But I like nicole better and shes $20 cheaper. but no panties lol
good luck

Ohhh definitely Beehive. And see Cara. She's fantastic.

I moved to Hawaii two months ago and I'm having a hard time finding a good waxing place, let alone something as great as Beehive. Use it while you can!! LOL

You should get one before you come! :) Beehive is great, you get a discount off your first visit!

@ TweedleDee2 - a brazilian is one of those things you have to be prepare to go all in for. There's no just start and we'll see how far I get and I may come back (because you won't). Just make up your mind to do it and get it done. As soon as you get up and walk to the front to pay the pain is already gone and done. If you choose to do it, something that I think helps is taking a hot shower right before to open the pores. Some people take asprin/ibprofen first. I also take a shower after I'm done because sometimes I have little pieces of hard wax that sticks.
