I am having my first child... but I was wondering if any of the seasoned moms out here had any signs before they went into labor.

I am pregnant with number 5. With #1 I had no signs. I had the braxton hicks for weeks, but went for my check up and they said go straight to the hospital. My water broke in active labor. #2 basically the same contractions for two weeks then could not sleep one night. Felt the urge to have a BM but could not go, mucus plug came and made a mad rush to the hospital. Waterr broke in active labor. #3 and 4 were induced but #5 is going to be a surprise.

My advice is read up on the signs and symptoms and pay attention to what your body is doing the last 4 weeks. Stay close to the hospital the final weeks and if you feel different, go in...they'll send you home if it is not time. My contractions feel like very tense muscle contractions,they are not painful, my water breaks in active labor and I labor FAST. If you feel more restless than normal, see mucos, blood, a trickle or flood of water or feel the need to have a bm but cannot, get to a hospital. You must be very excited! I hope your pregnancy goes well! 

I noticed spotting and was extremely tired. I knew I when I was in labor because it freaken hurt, you will too lol

I had no signs except the day of when the contractions started. 

I have 3, each one was so different. I think I just knew when I knew. Really hard question to get answers for because everyone is so different. Kind of fun to see different ways though. 

I am due June 17, but that puts me already at 41 weeks. I've been extremely tired and in a lot of pain but my doctor said its SPD which has to do with my pelvis not being aligned properly. 

I had excruciating pain during my last pregnancy due to a misaligned pelvis. I seriously could barely walk. Chiropractic care weekly made is soooo much better. My doc in SC had a special table for pregnant women. If you can find a chiro that does prenatal work I highly recommend it! 

My membranes ruptured first... in 3 different pregnancies.
