Shut it up!!! I'm tired of hearing it YAP YAP YAP YAP!!

For almost an hour now it has been yapping!
Seriously take care of your animal!

blah blah blah --- 13 years ago -

You live in pet friendly housing deal with it!! If you don't like to hear it move else where. Just sayin.

pandamanda0719 --- 13 years ago -

You don't have to be a B!
Just because I live I pet friendly housing doesn't mean my neighbors should NEGLECT their pet!

blah blah blah --- 13 years ago -

How do you know they are neglecting their pet. It could be anything. The dog could be outside playing with a child it could be they are training their dog. You don't know why their dog is barking. And just b/c its been barking an hour isn't neglect. All I'm saying is you live in pet friendly housing so don't complain about a dog barking.

Lula Belle --- 13 years ago -

How is a dog barking being neglected? If they just weren't taking care of it that's one thing. Barking is completely different and totally normal for a dog.

pandamanda0719 --- 13 years ago -

When you let your dog sit outside for an hour and yap.. You're neglecting it!

And I know the dog isn't "playing with a child" because I can friggin see it!

Yes I live in a pet friendly neighbor hood but that doesn't mean I should have to listen to a dog yap for hours on it.

Grow up and stop being a B!

BellaLaVie --- 13 years ago -

They could be at work.

And you live in pet housing - it's expected. Dogs bark.

blah blah blah --- 13 years ago -

You sound ignorant 1st of all and 2nd it sounds like you need to do some growing up. Its not neglect to have a dog bark. I wish you would call animal control and tell them a dog has been barking and you will hear them laugh in your ear. Its NORMAL for a dog to bark. If its 15 min or an hour its just a dog barking.

Lula Belle --- 13 years ago -

That's not really true. At least not in ALL cases. My dog likes to be out on our patio. He also barks (he's a dog). I guess I'll hold his mouth shut next time he goes out there.

Also, I don't think the B comment was for me, but I just want to add that I'm not trying to be mean. I also know it's annoying to hear a dog bark, my own annoys the piss out of me. But that's what dogs do.

cayoung0424 --- 13 years ago -

You can't leave dogs outside for hours barking. Animal control will come the next day and confront the owners. I had to call multiple times on my old neighbors. They would leave their dogs outside all day barking for hours and never do anything about it. Eventually they did get their dogs taken because it is again base rules to have dogs outside all day and let them bark for hours.

blah blah blah --- 13 years ago -

A dog is outside he barks.

Children are outside they laugh & scream.

Would you sit there and complain about a child playing and yelling outside?

alwaysright --- 13 years ago -

OP you actually sound like the B....

blah blah blah --- 13 years ago -

Yes I can see if they were outside for hours and hours but an hour, really. Not to mention I'm also in WM3 and I haven't heard a dog barking for an hour.

BadMomma2 --- 13 years ago -

i get it OP, i have a yapping fluffy dog next door that is driving me crazy - thank god im back at work so i dont have to listen to it all day long now

blah blah blah --- 13 years ago -

OP why don't you walk 2 feet and knock on their door and ask them to shut their dog up? You would prolly get a better result if you did that instead of post on here.

MommyX2 --- 13 years ago -

We've got one that goes off randomly next door for hours, but its not everyday so its not too bad.

But the other night I was making cookies for my daughters bake sale and I heard jingleing in my garage, I opened the door and there was a huge German shepherd and some medium sized tan dog in there trying to climb on our washer to get my daughters lunch pail. They were right next to my husbands bike, if it would have been knocked over there would have been a problem.

I'm also in wm3, and the loose dogs irritate me much more than the barking dog next door.

pandamanda0719 --- 13 years ago -

Call me a B if you want everyone is allowed to have an opinion!

BadMomma2 --- 13 years ago -

im guessing the one next door to us is bored and very spoilt so its yaps while they are away and then she gets home and she practically carries it for hours - i caught her feeding it off a plate with a silver dome platter thingy over the top of it the other day, like presenting a meal to royalty

i will never understand people that treat dogs as humans - they lick and smell other dogs asses people and then you let them lick your face. obviously im not much of a pet lover

Well isn't that the pot calling the kettle black..

Amurikan Lunatic --- 13 years ago -

Knock on their door and tell them your frustrations you coward.

HomeIsWhereTheMCSendsUs --- 13 years ago -

I didn't think anyone was allowed to leave pets unattended?

Thank goodness I live in an area where my neighbors actually take care of their dogs when they bark rather than ignoring them and leaving them to disturb their neighbors. My dogs come in the moment they bark, and they've learned they only need to bark once to alert me that they are done.

Same here, as soon as my dog starts barking... its inside time for her! She hasn't caught on to the whole, "just bark once to alert me" but I'm thinking her pea brain would not figure that one out, ha!

MommaNanny --- 13 years ago -

I had to start locking my dogs up all day because they barked one day. Not because housing told me to. My friend lives across the street. She said the neigborhood kids sat at my fence and taunted them all day. Even after she yelled at them.
