I'm Christian and I am firm in my belief, but I enjoy learning about other religions too. It's quite fascinating.

I'm a wiccan I believe in do no harm to others. Though I was born and raised catholic.... I just don't truly believe in what the church teaches anymore though you will not see me down talking any religion because you can believe what you want and I'll believe what I want and we can still live in peace.

catholic and so are the boys. hubby was raised baptist but he attends mass with us - i doubt/dont expect him to convert

sheBERRY --- 13 years ago -

I was raised Catholic, but I LOVE to go to southern Baptist services. LOL! When my grandma and mom are around, I get stuck going to mass. I take two Motrin and two 5-hour energy drinks just to make it through.

TweedleDee2 --- 13 years ago -

I experienced my first Pedecostel (sp?) church service a few weeks ago...My friend told us not to be "freaked out" about how they worship cause when they worship..they WORSHIP!

AmyLostInNC --- 13 years ago -

Lol Tweedle, I was raised in a Pentacostal church till I was 15 and they get a little crazy! I will admit I was part of all the dancing and speaking in tounges and all.

After that I went Baptist for awhile till I realized the church I was at was a cult. I got kicked out and it took me 5 years to convince my mom what was really going on. Terrible stuff to get mixed up in.

I am a non-denominational Christian now. I cannot trust a church after the whole "Baptist church" experience. *note: I know not all Baptist churches are cults, just the one we got mixed up in* I will teach my kids about Jesus and maybe someday I will find a church I feel comfortable in.

I love learning about other religions though. I recently went to a Buddhist temple for a religious studies class project and it was an amazing experience. I won't be converting anytime soon but the meditation was calming.

Sounds interesting.

I know how you feel on the topic on finding a home church and building that trust. I've had some bad experiences, and run into a lot of false prophets along the way so when I found my "home", I let out a big sigh of relief. Not that I "need" it, but I like to have friends who share my beliefs too to help me along the way.

CuteCurlyC --- 13 years ago -

Both my husband and I are traditional Catholics. We always joke around about how we were born in the wrong era because we are so traditional.....something not seen much in younger people.

Jayne Wayne --- 13 years ago -

Always ready to learn and educate.

...so you're one of THOSE

Love My Doxies --- 13 years ago -

Taoist-Christian

reallyeffinggay --- 13 years ago -

One of those what? after that comment you just made I think I might just throw it right back at ya.

reallyeffinggay --- 13 years ago -

Im not a bible thumper, I simply live of the fact that to be a christian you believe with your heart and confess with your mouth. I get drunk sometines,.i curse, I wear makeup , I wanna smack my hubby sometimes, but that is where I am a sinner. I just know and aknowledge that Jesus Christ died on the cross for us. And.i depend on HIM.

Taminator --- 13 years ago -

I am a non denominational Christian and go to North Coast Church/Fallbrook

lovethebaby --- 13 years ago -

Christian, but I went to Catholic Mass during training. I tried to learn, but it was very confusing and nothing like the christian services I was used to.
