At what stage did you start getting it, was it only morning or were there things that triggered it? Was it flu like nausea or did it feel like something else? 2+8=?

shizzlemydizzle --- 13 years ago -

Everyone is different and each pregnancy is different.

I had morning sickness my entire first pregnancy and it wasn't actually in the morning, it was in the evenings.

AZbound --- 13 years ago -

This time I started getting it a week before I was even due for my period.

I don't get it bad though. If I don't eat small meals throughout the day then I start feeling it. I also get sick if I take my prenatal during the day. I have to take it right before bed.

To me, I just feel like i'm car sick...don't know how else to explain it.

HereAgain --- 13 years ago -

With my first I started feeling sick around 8 weeks or so an it lasted my whole pregnancy.
Seriously! I was miserable! Mine felt like cold sweats and nausea, not sure how to explain it. I just always felt like I was about to puke. Food made it even worse, even water made me throw up. It was an all day everyday thing.
My second around 10 weeks or so and it lasted until I was about five months.

So its common for it to be at random times during the day?

So its common for it to be at random times during the day?

yes, lol. Mine is mostly at night.

Poe --- 13 years ago -

That's misleading, they should call it something else.

AZbound --- 13 years ago -

I agree =0)

I started getting morning sickness about two weeks ago (week 9 of pregnancy) it is in the mornings, I'm sick for about an hour and then I get sick around 11am everyday.

saywhat?! --- 13 years ago -

I'm 7 weeks 3 days and have had morning sickness since I found out! Started out with different smells making me queasy...now anything and everything makes me want to vomit. I have zofran 4mg and it helps it to not be soo bad...but doesn't get rid of it completely. Also, my so called morning sickness lasts all day..and all night. Only time I feel ok is when I sleep! Thankfully I've only actually vomited a couple of times. I find that eating fruit...particularly pears and grapes...citrus fruits really helps. Good luck!

Lucky, the only thing I have held down in mac & cheese and I hate mac & cheese...

saywhat?! --- 13 years ago -

Yes, I am...and I feel bad for even complaining about the nausea but that shiz is rough...combined with my other symptoms I've felt like a bloated, fat little irritable zombie.

shesfromthevalley --- 13 years ago -

This time around it started at about 6 weeks and went till about 9 weeks. It just felt like constant all day nausea. Eating little meals here and there made me feel alot better.

Whatevergirl 2 --- 13 years ago -

I had all day sickness. Morning, noon, night. It made no difference. I never threw up though, just felt sick to my stomach.

Jeepers --- 13 years ago -

Are you pregnant?

Murph --- 13 years ago -

blahh it's allll day for me :(... I am 6 weeks today and I have been sick since 1 week before I found out. With my son it didn't start until 8-9 weeks and the only food aversions I had was to raw meat and syrup and with this one everything makes me want to vomit except for toast. Oh and I smell taco bell allll day. What's that all about? lol

Poe --- 13 years ago -

Sounds like a blast :/

HavingaBOY --- 13 years ago -

Mine started at 8 weeks, ended at 11 weeks, it was ALL day long, I never actually puked. It was just constant nausea.

Gingerale helped a lot
Rasberry Iced Tea
Crackers w/ cheese
Lemon drops

So if your not married how long would you wait to tell said boyfriend? If you are married how long to tell hubbym

Poe --- 13 years ago -

Hubby*

Jeepers --- 13 years ago -

Immediately. I wouldn't wait. He stuck it in you, he knows the possibilities.

Poe --- 13 years ago -

HavingaBOY --- 13 years ago -

i took the test w my husband.

Wisconsin Sarah --- 13 years ago -

I think I got it around 8-10 weeks ... it sucked ... my doc gave me B6/Unisom combo and it worked like a charm ... I also ate while taking it which seemed to help

It felt just like an uncomfortable nausea, usually morning about a half hour after I got up ...

I would get it at random times if I didnt have small snacks so I carried around Goldfish Crackers a lot .. those helped a TON!
