the one i went to they had soup, bread, chicken, and dessert. It was a lot to eat and you ate everything with your hands (soup you had to sip from the bowl). I liked the food a lot, but my tastes aren't fancy
Just for the weekend - Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Make this weekend a special one with our Labor Day treat. All tickets are $29.95 at participating castles. Check out www.medievaltimes.com for details! Use promo code 29WEB when making reservations.
Personally, I did not like it. I have posted about the food previously and included pictures. It was canned Campbells tomato soup, garlic toast, chicken, one small rib, a half potato and an apple turnover. By no means a gourmet meal. I would definitely go if I was going to take someone that had never been before, but I wouldn't go just for fun because I wanted to. The show was much, much better than the food.
It's simple but delicious and yes, VERY filling. You get soup, Texas toast, ribs, potato and a ton of chicken, apple turnover + drinks. Of course it's not gourmet, it's MEDIEVAL times lol I've been 3 or 4 times now... I think the soup is really tasty. Is it really Campbells because I don't normally like theirs?
Mrs. Patch, I remember you talking about how awful the food was. The discount tickets are a good deal, but I would never go at regular price. If I'm going to pay that much for dinner and a show, I'll go to Dar Maghreb in L.A. :)
The 29WEB code and offer is ONLY good for shows THIS Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. SO you can call and order your tickets for those days anytime, but it's only valid for those days. It's a Labor Day weekend special. The rest of the time they have the $35 special.
