some years im really good and others im lazy but today i purchased my first Christmas gift for 2011 - three gifts in fact

anyone else started their Christmas shopping yet??? 

I gotta get through birthdays first before I even think about Christmas! I'm usually completely done by Halloween though. 

Not yet. I start after Easter. 

Yes I've already started. JcPenney was having a great sale last week. It seems like more than half of the store was on sale for 75% off! 

Nope, I don't start till about June. 

I started 2 days after Christmas ;-)

We are going to start saving for it after we get our debt paid off but I dont usually start shopping till July. 

As far as shopping goes- not yet, but then again I haven't found any awesome deals. But we've started putting back money out of each paycheck for the rest of the year. That way just in case I am not able to find decent work/something comes up- kiddos bdays, christmas and the ball will be covered and we won't have to stress about funds. :)

I want to start really soon.. but I don't know when/where we will be moving to.. and I don't want to buy a bunch of stuff only to have to pack and move it. Bummer.

I usually start Christmas shopping around December 9 or 10 hahaha. I swear I'll "be better about it next year," every single year...but I never am. 

Nah. I can't start this early... people might end up buying it for themselves or not liking it by the time Christmas rolls around! 

No way! I don't start until after our daughter's birthday in September. 

I just started Christmas 2010 shopping for my husband lol, he should have a good stockpile of gifts when he gets home. I did clearance shop the decorations for next year though.

If I buy stuff this early, I end up keeping it or using it for myself, HA. 

I have to get through the last birthday for the kiddos which is July and then I will pick up a few random things here and there. I have started gathering presents for my M1's birthday which is march :) 

No, I won't expect everyone to know what they want until November and I'm not going to buy stuff we don't need just because it's on sale. 

I already took off of work from the 19-31st of Dec this year. Does that count? 

I already started putting away money. We do a Christmas club account that we put $100 into each month. 

I keep the "present box" in my closet all year round. I go to all the sales and find little gifts that can be given all year round in case I have an unexpected birthday, wedding, baby shower or other event I need a gift for. Whatever is left over by November becomes Christmas gifts and the box gets refilled after Christmas. 

I wish...but my daughter and nieces are at the age that what they want changes daily!!!! So I start shopping mid-september after the last b-day! :)

That's how I am too. My daughter's tastes are constantly changing, so I just put away money every paycheck, and usually start the actual shopping around mid October, after her birthday
