It makes me wonder about the literal CRAP that people post for like $3. Seriously, how much is your time worth? You need that dollar for your used dog bowl so badly that you spent the time photographing it, and completing the process of posting it? Hmm....
People have things posted for $0.50!! I actually just clicked out of it when I saw that. What's the freakin point? If you're that hard up for money that you're selling every pice of crap you own...GET A JOB.
they are not that easy to find.
This bothers me when people say this. NO...a job is easy to find. It just may not be something you are willing or want to do.
I guess I shouldn't hate on PYS too much. I did happen to stumble upon a perfectly normal girl who sold me some gorgeous furniture, dirt cheap :) I lucked out, fo sho! BUT, I still had to sift through the trash, and dodge a few creepy sellers in the process.
.....I did happen to stumble upon a perfectly normal girl who ......!
of course the fact that she is currently sitting in her car outside your house rocking back and forth an talking about "her precious" is nothing to be concerned about :D
When we moved out here(2 years ago), it took me 11 months to find a job. I was about to go crazy! Now I work too much and feel like going crazy somedays. :)
IT IS VERY HARD TO GET A JOB IN THIS ECONOMY!!!
Why are you yelling?
It's hard for a lazy person to get a job, very true. It's not going to fall into your lap. Spending a hour a day skimming through ads on cl and responding to a few-doesn't count as job searching.
Last year, I decided to start working and it took me a whopping two weeks to be hired, and I only applied at two places. I guess blaming the economy is easier than self reflection though. Whatev...
Those legos she is selling are the bigger ones. She wants the regular small legos! At least that's what I am ASSUMING!
she has both kinds listed, wtf lol
Maybe her kids are lego fanatics that dont know how to keep the legos off the floor. If my kid doesnt want to take care of and clean up his toys I will get rid of them also. Call me harsh....
so for those that are saying its hard to find a job in this economy....
Have you applied at mcdonalds/fast food places, gas stations, any retail place that says they are hiring? if its needed that bad, you'll put aside your degree(if you have one)and start there for now.
I never really have a problem when I'm job searching. I go out, apply to like 5 places, and within a few days at least 3 of them are calling me to set up interviews.
I just think it is the type of work a person goes out for as opposed to the type of people that the place they want to work is looking for.

My friend has...The reason I know this is because Ive taken her to interviews and to look for a job...i was her ride...she finally got a job but it took almost 8 months...You just gotta keep looking! And not just a day or 2 a few times a week.
makes me wonder why someone would sell legos on there knowing that her boys 'lego fanatics'
I dont know the girl but my son is a thomas fanatic and I just go rid off 2 bags of track(free) because Im tired of arguing with him to pick it up.
