What with the freaking swap meet looking house in South Mesa East? It's unreal every single weekend so much junk EVERYWHERE! Half of it looks like straight trash. Theres always junk sitting out there, like 4 washing machines, futons not just on weekends when they are trying to sell it. Enough already it's disgusting!

JessesGirl --- 13 years ago -

Haha!! I wonder the same thing every time I drive by!! Where does it all come from?!?!

HavingaBOY --- 13 years ago -

Hoarders? lol

YeaOk --- 13 years ago -

Do.they have a white pick up truck? If so it might be the couple that drive around on trash day picking up everyones unwanted things...

swankdoll --- 13 years ago -

They have a silver truck, it's probably them its disgusting!

TexasMommy --- 13 years ago -

If its a silver dodge..they drive around the night before trash day picking up junk

JessesGirl --- 13 years ago -

Noo!! That is soo bad! Well if they have a nice looking printer for sale that will not turn on fit anything then they picked it up from our trash! It was mysteriously gone...

Whatevergirl 2 --- 13 years ago -

Our carpet cleaner was sitting next to our garage and it disappeared that night. It was broken. Wonder if they took it too. Lol

Ya this would be the type of truck always parked out in front of the house. How gross is that.

Enough already I'm so over seeing this nasty mess especially now hearing it's other people trash. Guess it's time to place a call to housing. If I lived across the Street or beside them I think I would cry having to look at this all day. Plus all that crap, clutter and trash is bound to bring mice and who knows what else EWWWWWW!!!!

I woke up to them at midnight going through trash and they had flash lights :/ ugh

swankdoll --- 13 years ago -

OMG nice, I would not have been happy this Momma needs her sleep lol.

Nice. Wonder why the do it so late... They must know there is something wrong with it.

TexasMommy --- 13 years ago -

ive wondered the same thing, but apparently another person said they caught them taking stuff out of their recyclable trash can...

Lovemy2boys --- 13 years ago -

Are they the ones with the weird plants in the front of their house by their walkway?

Stuart Mesa --- 13 years ago -

They have a bunch of trash in their dirve way you cant miss them.

BINGO gotta to be. I personally can't imagine digging through peoples trash and then trying to sell it. So wrong in soooo many ways!!

Donny --- 13 years ago -

My best guess is that it's their familiy "second income".

Obviously they aren't using this stuff they are selling it. I'm not sure what a call to housing will do, unless they have an abundance of stuff they'll probably just stick it all in their garage.

Whatevergirl 2 --- 13 years ago -

TMwe used to have a recycle their but they switched them o the giant garage like cans and we're only suppose to put it out when it's full. I think it discouraged a lot of thieves.

Trace --- 13 years ago -

Donny, that is an understatement.

Whatevergirl 2 --- 13 years ago -

Donny housing doesn't like unsightly messes outside. If it's an eye sore I am sure housing will say something. Heck we got a written warning for a basketball hoop.

TexasMommy --- 13 years ago -

Is it bad that I want to see how bad the driveway looks? lol Im guilty of watching hoarders and it blows my mind how some people live on that show, it really sad.

I know WEG i have been playing a game with housing of "hide my firepit" because i usually keep it on the side of the porch (it's even got a cover over it).

I'm just saying even if their yard looks like a swap meet all housing will do is leave them a letter. They'll stick the crap in their garage if they have half a clue and that will be the end of it.

That's the thing it's not all kept in the garage it's all over the place. The drive way always has stuff all over like last week I went by and it had 4 washing machines in it and a futon and other random junk. Another time the drive way and the garage was full of crap and it was lining the walkway to the front door. It's like this all the time.

Whatevergirl 2 --- 13 years ago -

Yeah you're right. It'll become a rotate their junk around game. Glad I don't have to look at it!

SouthernTwang --- 13 years ago -

We just moved here and I cant help but wonder...Why do you have to hide a fire pit? If I was a cat, I guess curiosity would kill me.

HomeIsWhereTheMCSendsUs --- 13 years ago -

LOL, what street? i will need to do a drive by for a laugh!

saywhat?! --- 13 years ago -

I live in Stuart Mesa and there is a house near mine where the guy leaves his crap out in his yard/driveway all the time. It looks awful! Thankfully he only drags all his shiz out on the weekends for the whole neighborhood to see.

I think it is crazy that so many people sit on here and complain about people taking freebes but here is a family who finds broken things (that people don't want), fix them up, and sell them and now people are complaining because they don't like "how it looks." seriously they are actually doing something to change their situation and not just sitting on a computer complaining.

True.

It's less trash if it's fixed and sold :)

The complaints are because it's breaking the rules. To some, it's offensive to see there home like that. I honestly think it doesn't look too horrible. It's not "filth" outside.

SkullGirl --- 13 years ago -

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere (I think in all of our housing info) that "dumpster diving" and such is illegal here on base.
