Have you called tricare to verify there isn't an option for being so far out besides standard. I'm pretty sure there is a loop hole, but I can't think of under what conditions it is viable.

Would my expired mil ID count as one? I read somewhere that they now have a way for the service member to fill out something online, so I can go alone, but my hubs has no idea what I speak of.

I'm wearing last years dress again. I loved it, and I seriously doubt anyone will remember unless you have the two pics side by side of both years and maybe if you have a buff that's in your unit.

Thanks guys, I didn't think I could,but I wasn't 100% our poa is expired now too. Looks like he will have to plan to meet or take me out there on a later date.

Or does the service member need to be present? We are on RD, and the closest base is a couple hours away, and I guess he "forgot" mine expired at the same time as him, and already made plans to go out...
