any crafty wives here? what are some things that you like to make? I try to be crafty, not that I'm extremely well at it haha. I'm trying to find things to keep me busy while the hubs is away and was wondering if anyone would like to share some craft ideas. TIA. Happy Sunday! 

I like to sew. Especially making quilts. Something like that would definitely keep you busy because it takes forever to cut up all the fabric. At least it does for me, that's the worst part! You could also teach yourself to knit or crochet.

Yea, I don't have a sewing machine :/ I wish I could quilt though lol.

I was more just trying to see what everyone does, get a conversation going and throwing ideas out there :) 

I sewed a baby blanket by hand. It took me 3 days. That's a good time filler. 

I never really thought of doing one by hand, I just thought it wouldn't hold up if I didn't use a machine. 

Mines been through 5 washes already, so far so good! 

I make hair bows for my girls(sold to cheerleading team)..sew..woodwork..i'm very creative! i'm new to the area(south mesa 1-just outside the main gate)I'm a sahm and would love to get together and trade crafts..

You can buy reasonably cheap ones. If you get good enough at it, you could sell the quilts as well. They make great gifts for people! I love to quilt and have a show on or music for background. It will most definitely keep you busy and you get a wonderful result!
