Looking for affordable and acceptable Internet and this is my first time doing this so I am sooo confused. Any advice?? Which places do u prefer? What speeds are acceptable for people who will just surf, download occasionally, watch netflix and the occasional gaming for the husband.

We lived near Deluz and we had Cox. We had the whole bundle and it was expensive, around $170 a month. For video streaming you are going to want at least 10 mbps download speed.

We also had Cox when we lived in DeLuz and it was fine. We had high speed interet, one HDDVR and one regular HD box and paid around $130.

I'm in Deluz and I have Cox. I pay about $130. A lot of people suggest AT&T, it's way cheaper, because of their promos...but I've heard so many people complain about them.

ATT suuuucks. Its worth it to me because it's a lot cheaper but seriously, go with cox.

Thank u all! We went with cox and there were already better just over the phone and sending us the stuff we need.

BAV14 --- 12 years ago -

Just make sure you pay attention to when your promos end so you can call and get them to extend it. Otherwise your normal $130 bill will jump to $180 randomly.

Not necessarily $180 exactly, but it'll definitely jump, lol.
