Hello, I was just curious if anyone has a child who goes to either Garrison or Ditmar Elementry here in Oceanside, my son will be going into Pre - K and was just wanting to know which one is a better school since base schools are all filled. Thanks in advance, hope you all are having a wonderful Monday. 

I believe Ditmar Ele is shut down as it was used as a temp school for base schools being reconstructed. My daughters go to North Terrace and that was their temporary school site last year. 

ya she said that ditmar elementry is going to be at 1125 ditmar street i guess. ummm does anyone know anything about garrison elementry? 

Ditmar is closed, so they must be sending another school to the campus for a year to rebuild. 

Garrison is a pretty decent school. My friend's kids used to go there. She loved it.
