I'm a military spouse, and I just got my first book published: Deer, Jane. It's a paranormal romance, a tad bit on the smutty side (but that's what happens when your husband is deployed, right?), so if you like stories about good looking, muscle-bound, macho men who shapeshift, check it out. You can read the first 4 chapters for free here:
I'd greatly appreciate any feedback you have as well.

If you like to write, hit me up. I'm always looking for fellow writers. Getting published is HARD, so if you'd like to know about that process, I'd be happy to explain it as it pertained to me. :)
Published? Or self published? This looks like self published only because it is barely available anywhere. Not bashing you because I think this is great, but if this is truly published, they screwed you over.
It's published by Otherworld Publications. If you have an ereader like Kindle or Nook, you can read it now, but it's still being printed for hard copies. Most people get published by independent publishers, so the marketing isn't what you would normallly see. It's a lengthy process! I'm just fortunate to have found a publisher without having to find a literary agent.
Well I say good for you MrsMacho! People don't realize how difficult it really is to get published, and the fact that you were able to is a feat in itself. You should be proud of your accomplishment!
