However, when you decide to give away your dog on PYS and are happy with that decision after thinking long and hard about it, after a week do not decide to call the people who you gave the dog to asking if you can have her back. That window of opportunity closed. I hate to sound like an ass but once you've made a decision like that, what's done is done.

Agreed! There are no take backs!

I got one of my dogs on pys and almost 3 months later the lady emailed me asking for him back. She said her husband was home from deployment and she has decided she can handle him (the dog) now. I emailed her back saying no because my daughter is attached to him and loves him. She sent me back the crappiest email talking about how dare I take a dog from a deployed Marine fighting for my freedom to raise my "ungrateful brat". Ummm how does loving a dog SHE didnt want and I paid $100 for make my daughter an ungrateful brat? You cant sell a dog because it is to much because "your alone and stressed" and then ask for him back.

I am not one to agree with rehoming pets owning one is a forever thing but if someone does they shouldn't ask for it back even a day later. If you are going to rehome a pet it's something that needs to be thought a lot about because it's not really something you can change
