window mesh

Trying to find something that we can use in our sons room where he cant fall out the window when its open. Right now we have it closed except a couple inches and have a window lock so our son cant open it more. With summer around the corner I want to be ready. 

To me it seems like it would not be strudy enough to hold in case he pushed or pulled on it 

I read some reviews and it said you cant push through it. All the reviews I read where good reviews so I think Im going to give it a try. 

How does it attached to the window is it screwed into the frame? 

My kids are older so this isn't an issue, but i have seen several neighbors who have put baby gates in their windows. I'm not sure how well those work or how safe they are though. 

Unless they're gates that are suitable for the top of stairs, I wouldn't risk it. I'm sure something like this on the market has to pass safety tests in order to be sold. I'd trust the mesh over a baby gate. 

My 3 year old (2 at the time) ripped it right out of the wall! It was in there for a couple weeks before she did it- but she was also going through a special "destructive phase" I didn't have the window open- I put it there cause my 5 yr old knew how to open the window and I wanted extra protection. Didn't work for us. 

get the window guard bars probably not attractive but they should work
