Anyone use them?
I have them and got them from December until now. I have gotten charged for December, Jan, Feb, March, yet I have only had them come and replace the softener twice (Dec and Jan). I don't know if this is normal. I assume they have tried to deliver, I've just been gone since husband and I both work but I mean, it doesn't make sense to me to charge $43 when they haven't replaced anything. They also changed it from $42 to $43 without telling me. A dollar isn't a big difference but I was never even informed.

We have them and they come every other week. Our garage has a key entrance so they come in that way. We pay 54 a mo so you got a deal :)

They can put a thing on your garage so they access when you aren't home. We had Rayne but had some issues, like garage left open, and saying they changed it and it hadn't been changed, so we just recently switched to culligan. Culligan has much better customer service. The ladies in the office were rude to me and acted like no big deal when i called to complain about our garage being left open and the last straw was arguing with me saying I'm wrong when I called cause it hadn't been changed out when it was supposed to be. Then when I said I was going to cancel they said I was going to be charged all these fees and wanted payment for them before I canceled. I refused and once I got off the phone pulled out our contract which stated no fees as long as I was a customer for 6 months. We had been with them for a over a year. Also we had the filter on our sink and when there tech came to remove it asked if I had been contacted in October to set up a date to have a new one put in, I said no they never told me it needed to be changed out. He told me one of the girls should of set up a appt before Oct for a new one cause they are only good for a year. Thank goodness we drink bottled water and I only use that for cooking and all the appliances that take water. Horrible experience. Good luck.

Youreallythinkso how much do you pay for culligan if you don't mind me asking?

We have Rayne. The tank is on the outside of the house so they have easy access to deliver. They come every other week and we pay 52.00 a month. We have the reverse osmosis spigot on the kitchen sink too. We've had no problems with them at all.

We experienced poor poor customer service with Rayne too. They would come at random times for delivery. I use to work from home and although, most of the time I am home- I do take my kids to school every morning. They managed to start coming in that little window I was gone. No big deal, I just needed to change the time of delivery. I obviously couldn’t change the time my kids go to school. Rayne wouldn’t change the time (even though we started at a set time- they argued with me that they don’t "set" times for delivery it is all just estimated our time slot was 11-2 they were coming at 7:45am) So we switched to a company that was able to accommodate our needs.

The customer service was terrible when I tried to schedule a different time and they basically told me they were way too busy to deal with me (we were a customer for over a year). Just rude. If they didn’t want our business I was not going to give it to them.

We went to Culligan and had great customer service!

We had Rayne also and switched to Culligan. Our issue with Rayne was the same, billing problems in that they would bill me twice in a month and then instead of refunding one of the payments they would just not bill me the next month which kinda threw off my budgeting. The final straw was when they knocked over a bunch of stuff in my garage and didn't pick it up, tell us about it or anything! I came home to find my garage door wide open and my things laying all over the floor!

I agree their customer service is terrible! They had been coming to our home around 10 am and all of a sudden they started coming around 7am. At that time I am usually getting ready and I never heard them ring the doorbell. I called to ask what was going on because I thought they had just stopped coming to replace it. The lady gave me an attitude, she told me it was my fault for not answering and that they wouldn't come to replace it until my next scheduled delivery. I asked her about the previous payments and she basically told me it was my loss, I don't remember her exact words but something along those lines. I cancelled my service right then and there.

Culligan and Rayne basically charge the same rates.

We have had Rayne for almost 3 years now. One time we had an issue where the tank hadn't been changed because we hadn't been home, and they refunded us without any issue. After that, we got the garage key so they can come in and do it whether or not we are here. Multiple times, they have come and my husband has left stuff in front of the tank, I've run out there to move it for them, but they had already moved it, replaced the tank and then moved the stuff back! We are very happy with them! The garage key is the best thing though!

We like Rayne, only because the man that is over ours, gives out his personal cell for any issues. They have been great so far, we have not had any issues...
