I am a SAHM but I also started selling Scentsy too. I also take online classes at Penn Foster for Medical Billing and Floral Design.

CharlieWhiskey2 --- 13 years ago -

Shoot, I forgot schooling!

Poe --- 13 years ago -

Working soon to be mom.

SoonToBeJD --- 13 years ago -

I go to school full time and work part time. I also work from home doing more legal stuff.

HMDT --- 13 years ago -

SAHD here

Jersey Shore Chickie --- 13 years ago -

I work a typical 50-60 hour work week and pregnant with my first. After maternity leave I'll be heading back to work while hubs prepares to be a SAHD.

CLLP --- 13 years ago -

SAHD here

Is your wife enlisted? Do you like staying home or would prefer to work?

MommaNanny --- 13 years ago -

What would a sahm/babysitter count as? Im thinking about starting online school again. I just finished medical coding and billing.

USMCFunSize --- 13 years ago -

Yup, schooling would have been my answer.. so I put no kids, no job. But I go to school full time, which actually brings in some money in my case :)

Giggle Butt --- 13 years ago -

I'm in school full-time to earn my BA and I'm a Scentsy consultant. :)

PM me for Scentsy ;)

ooorah69P --- 13 years ago -

Divorced, unemployed SAHD here...LOL

My youngest lives with me, he's a HS Senior.

Work from home mother... and trust me... it is work. The extra stress from me attempting to balance the schedules of all who live in our home and all that owning a business entails is worth it. I get to be involved in my kids lives and raise them the way I see fit.

I am definitely not saying it isn't work!
I was just curious on the numbers. When my husband and I have children, I have already told him I plan to be a stay at home mom until I feel comfortable enough to get back to work.

puppylove --- 13 years ago -

We have no kids and up until a few months ago I didn't work. I just took care of the house, our dogs and decorated cakes out of the house. Now I'm working almost 30 hours a week and still trying to take care of the house because my husband doesn't really help, he tries to help.

kristin40 --- 13 years ago -

I love working more than not working. Not working would make me extremely dull, bored, cranky, and the rest of the house would be miserable. Staying at home would kill me.

HMDT --- 13 years ago -

I LOVE being a SAHD.. I get to act like a kid and play with my kids all day at the park. Throw the ball in the house (mom don't let us) . And watch my kids grow!!

HMDT --- 13 years ago -

Oh, and yes, she is enlisted

CLLP --- 13 years ago -

Haha that's funny. I wish my husband would want to stay home. Whenever I have an appt and he stays home with them, he says "I don't know how you do it."

CLLP --- 13 years ago -

I'd love to go back to work but we can't afford daycare.

Fuego --- 13 years ago -

Working mother, and love it. I plan on working until the day I die.
