Does anyone know where i can rent a vehicle to drive to Texas & leave it there as in not bringing it back to the original rental place? Anyone? please help!
my husband just called all the enterprises in the area & none of them are letting us do that? :/
You are going to have a hard time finding any rental place that will let you take it that far.
A lot of rental cars work in a tri state area We had a friend who picked up a car in CA, drove to AZ picked up another car, drove to NM, picked up another car and drove to TX. It was insane but they didn't want to put miles on their own car. Then did the same thing coming back to CA.
I just used them to come out there to see my husband. They were pretty good. I'm 23 so it would have been a huge extra charge but since we have USAA, they took that off, which saved about $25 a day.

You can also try this site for deals. I've never used it, but my sister-in-law said it will search for deals each day and automatically adjust your reservation if it finds a better one. She saved $60 on one reservation without doing anything.
