Does anyone have any recommendations for an apartment complex in either Oceanside, Carlsbad, or Vista?

I would need these:
- A/C in unit
- cats allowed
- gated community
- full washer and dryer connection
- (if possible) a garage

might have better luck looking into townhouses or condos. You'll be hard pressed to find an apartment with full size washer and dryer hook ups.

I know the apartments on Village Way in Oceanside have a garage and washer/dryer hookups, allow pets, but the rent on those is $1700+ i think, might as well find a house for that price, and they have no AC and aren't gated. 

That's crazy. I might as well move up north which is where my husband works. 

We live in Shadowridge Woodbend and like it. It's not gated, but there's a full size washer/dryer in unit and it's safe. I've never had any problems other than a few mice. 

We had all that except the gated part at the Missions at Rancho del Oro when we lived there 7 years ago. I wasn't willing to live somewhere without a washer and dryer in my apartment. 

Used to live in Piazza D'Oro off of Vista Way and El Camino area. They only have a stackable washer and dryer and are not gated (false sense of security anyway..) but otherwise, they have everything else. Expensive... 

If your husband works on the N. end of base then have you thought about inland cities on that side?

My husband and I live in the Lake Elsinore/Perris area and live in a 2bdrm, 2 bath, 1200 sqft apt., pet friendly complex w/a/c, full size washer and dryer included, and garage for 1400/month.

The only thing missing there is the gated thing but a gate really doesn't make it safer. 

Mission hills in Oceanside. Allows pets, gated, full size washer and dryer, and one car garage. I think my friend is paying $1250ish for 2 bed 2 bath 

Monarch at Shadowridge in Vista..I just signed a lease for a 2 bed 2 bath 2 car attached garage, washer and dryer, gated community, gym, pool (all that stuff) Allows 2 pets and AC for 1880/month but they have a 2 bed 2 bath with 1 car garage for 1750 and just a 2bed 2bath with carport for 1650. I love the place there super nice! 

Windrift is also really nice! One of my friends used to live there. It really depends on how much you want to spend on a place.

I was thinking about that, but a couple of our closest friends live down in San Diego because he had to transfer to the Wounded Warrior battalion and I'll be going over there a lot while the husband deploys soon.
