Does anyone have a spouse or had a spouse over there? I was wondering if you were able to skype with them 

They have internet, Skype, Google all of them were working better in some areas than others when Dh left in Aug.

He was pissed he couldn't sign into our netflix account though, they had the video streaming sites blocked.

Bastion has a Pizza Hut LOL. 

I was there. It's the British base connected to Camp Leatherneck. s your hubby actually on Bastion? 

My husband was on Leatherneck and went to Bastion several times. As someone said above, that's where they would get Pizza Hut. We paid for my husband to have international data on his blackberry through Verizon and it worked most times when he was at camp. The wifi there was hit and miss.
