I'd be going but I already promised a mission on skid row that I'd go help pass out food and toys to the homeless :-( hope everyone gets a bike!
How do you find out about helping out? I was just talking to my neighbor about this, she really wants to take her 2 teenage boys to help out somewhere.
I know the people who run it. Look up "Fred Jordan mission". It's amazing they do big ones once a month or so and feed people weekly if not more I can't remember exactly how many times but it's awesome.
My husband had his Christmas party tonight and the FRO told people about the bike give away. He told people to eat and fill their bellys(they had a nice dinner)then head over to get in line for the bikes. LOL He was kidding of course but I bet people are in line.

There are direction on the ASYMCA website. It starts at 830. When i called today they said there was no certain time to show up before hand so that is entirely up to you.
When we went last year it was super busy. I would get there early. There will be a line of cars...you go through the line & around to the back of the building to get your bike. It gets packed.
We got there early & it went smoothly for us but I'm sure it's crazy for people that aren't in the front. I think it's supposed to be a one way thing but I saw little "traffic jams" last year when we were leaving.
