I was upset about that then I got a nail in my tire and I cried. It was embarrassing. you think i would be happy he is coming back. But i am stressed to no end.

My husband has been trying to sell me on retiring in Thailand. LOL Get a lot for his retirement check.

He was most recently there a couple of weeks ago for 10 days and his gov't credit card wouldn't work anywhere, so he ended up having to use our checking account to pay for everything, then all of his charges were duplicated, somehow. Ugh, it was a huge mess. Still waiting for that travel $$.

The things I've heard about Thailand make me shudder. 

The Full Moon Festival is a blast! It's one huge party, mainly Europeans. A party every full moon, how can you go wrong there? LOL

The exchange rate isn't bad..30 Thai Baht to $1 US. It is fairly easy to over do it, spending wise. Baht seem almost like Monopoly money after a while.

Personally i wouldn't get electronics there. Alot of them are just cheap knockoffs. But you can get good custom made suits there for a good price.

Phuket, Pattaya and Bangkok have their red light areas. I admit some things had to be seen to be believed. Pattaya is where most of the retired Americans are at.

And of course the ladyboys are all around. Some are foreigners. It was a little odd to see a 6'3 200lb black guy fm L.A. all decked out in his finest with a D cup chest. He was actually pretty funny to chat with, said Europeans are serious freaks..LMAO! When it comes to ladyboys the saying goes "If she is too good looking then she's a guy".

Thai food is soooo awesome! Nothing better than eating a chicken dish that was alive 30 minutes before.
