Thinking about moving to Stuart Mesa from DeLuz. Any *helpful* thoughts? 

What do you wanna know? 

I moved from Deluz to Stuart Mesa about 4 mnths ago and sooo happy I did. Just be ready to live with out A/C lol we didnt use it much but it was like whoaaaaaa lol It is great here :) 

I love it over here.

Probably because my street is basically empty lol. 

What are the houses like?
Is there a mini-MCX there?
What are the neighborhoods like?
What part do I NOT want to live in?
How's the management?
I've heard rumors about people getting BAH back?

I've only been in Stuart Mesa a few times, we had a friend who lived there.

BAH back? 350 a month for a 3 bed, 400 for a 2 bed

Everything dorothy said. I love the houses here. They're much like normal houses, not like weird base housing houses (I'm not a fan of deluz houses). Plus the mannager at stuart mesa confirmed to me today that we will all be getting backyards! Management is pretty good. They can be idiots sometimes. But usually its something that was a simple misttake or not their faullt. Please excuse my spelling, my stupid phone likes to add extra letters places.

Oh, id say the 3+ bedrooms are more likely to be quieter, because any E4 with no kids can llive in a 2 bed. So we have some loud neighbors with no kids which sucks because we have a baby. 

I don't know how people think it's a rumor that we get $$ back... LOL! I'm sorry I just think it's funny.

I've been told my house is really cozy, and has that "homey" (sp) feeling. It all depends what your take on is about what is spacious and what is not.

I don't think there is a bad part here, and I have been living here for 2 years.

No complaints about management. 

They were a pain in the arsssss lol they were 1 hr late to do my final and then when i fianlly called enough they sent someone who had never done a final and it was a pain and be prepared because they are after you for the carpet i mean they search for any random crazy reason to replace! 

I live in a renovated 3 bedroom. Pardon the bareness, we had just moved in...and ew....my baybays were messy in the dining room =-/ 

Oh, my carpet is screwed. My daughter threw up red Koolaid all over the livingroom in an attempt to get the the bathroom. But we have renter's insurance. That'll take care of it. I hope.

Best Furniture And Mattress, its by the animal shelter off of Mission/airport road.

I only paid 600 dollar for the sectional and ottoman. That place rocks.

I wont lie, the cabinets are a pain in my arse, but i magic eraser them every other day. 

And not all kitchens are like that. Mine is all open we don't have that in the middle. Either way is nice tho. I think the 3 bedrooms have it like that. I have a 2 bedroom.

those are the single car garage remodeled ones. The 2 car garages are not yet being remodeled. I love my street, some of my neighbors. But most of all the location of my house. no dog park near, no rowdy neighbors. 

Dorothy, I am jealous of your black countertops!! Your house is set up really nice too! My living room has a constant mine field of trucks and blocks lol 

I love it here. I lived in a 2 bd before and loved my layout. It was super functional. I have one of the 3 bds now with a 2 car garage and I'm in heaven. Sooooo spacious and open inside. Upstairs laundry that is the same size as my 3rd bedroom. I use it as my craft room, large sewing table and all. The neighborhood overall is pretty quiet. And it has that neighborhood, homey feel with the big old trees and the yards everyone does themselves. I really really like it. Plus, 2 pools, a community center with gym, 4 dog parks. I don't know why some people don't like it here. 

Im a toy nazi. Haha theyre only allowed upstairs. We have a huge storage closet where all the toys sleep at night. Lol 

Pink taco, there are 2 bds with that kitchen layout. That's what our kitchen was set up like. All the ones that have the arches over the walkway or arched window on the front have kitchens like that. 

Doo! Did they give you details about how they're doing the yards? Will we have any grass??? I will die if I finally get some grass. I'd probly never move. Lol
