Well it was all a clusterf*ck really. My husband put in for our area clearance, but didn't have enough time on contract, so he had to extend... again. So he got THAT done and turned in the paperwork to IPAC. Well they misplaced it, so he went back in and stood there until they found it and entered it into the computer. At that point it was too late in the day for them to send it to Oki (not quite sure how THAT is, but whatever)
So, on Sunday night, the system was refreshed and today we found out for certain OKI has all the paperwork, and we have area clearance. NOW we have to wait 3-10 days for them to approve our paperwork. Then they will send the approval back, and only then would we get our flight time.

I hate the marine corps some days. 

IPAC is the reason my husband is still in California and I have been in New Orleans over a week. They really suck!!!

Eh we are dealing with the whole pcsing and husband dealing with IPAC. He had to move all his dates back and he didn't want to deal with messing with TMO so we will be in a house 10 days without anything. Blah! I suggest taking the moving class by MCCS. They have the answers to all!

Do you live on base? I believe my husband said you can rent stuff out at the community centers. Cribs, air mattress, dinnerware. I'm dreading sleeping on the air mattress and no tv! I don't know what I'm going to do for 10 days.
