They're actually not bad, I liked constance (the African American lady). She's so cool & I like the way she wash my hair. She massaged my scalp & everything.. Oh Heaven!
I like it. I have only gone there so far for trims and waxing my brows but I really like the girl with the straight across bangs and cool arm tattoo. I can't remember her name off the top of my head. But she is great at what she does and talks enough to make you feel comfortable but not overly nosy like some salon stylists lol. Very clean place too.
I go to Nikki she does an awesome job! Plus right now on the mccs site there's a coupon for onyx get your hair colored and get a free hair cut! $65 for color and cut not bad =]
I gave them a try the other day. I took my son there for a quick cut. The lady didn't speak to him at all. It made for an ackward silence the whole time. It was a different vibe for sure.
They were just really rude both times I went. and one time is when I took my daughter to get a cut and when we got home I had to fix it (after it dried). Nothing MAJOR but I won't go back
I took my boys there 2 days ago and I don't know the girl's name but she did a shitty job. My 2 yr old's hair looks retarded and there is no way to fix it. She also cut my 4 yr old pretty badly with the clippers on the back of his neck.

I think the place is hit and miss, they change people a lot it seems. they lady that did my daughters hair right before school started did great ,if she is there then I would use her again but there are some that I would never let touch a monkeys head of hair.
I have been looking for a place that can put highlight into hair that are a purplish color. My one daughter has really dark hair and she wants a hint of purple and everywhere i go it seems like I spend a fortune for it to fade out way to quick, then she has funky color streaks, it looks so good when she gets it done and then after a few weeks its back a funky bronze color. If anyone has any suggestion on a product or place that can do that I would love to know
jennifer unfortunately the really funky bright purples are considered fashion colors. they like reds tend to fade fairly quickly. ive tried a few myself and have had the same problem with all of them.( and they are professional color). one of my clients has been my guinea pig for testing these new lines. we recently tried tigi color and im still waiting to see how it has lasted. she left for vacation right after we did it. the tigi color by far was the most intense shade of purple i have used so far. as far as over the counter fashion colors the one i have used and have had to remove that stays the longest seems to be manic panic and thats something you can get at sallys. i hope this helps.
