im sorry that it disturbs you all so very much. its over and apparently no one sees where i was coming from, id even take it down if i knew how. What disturbs me is that you are capable of hitting an animal (dogsized) and you take pride in doing so. I have always thought there is something menatally wrong with a person who can kill an animal for no other reason than sheer pleasure. That is exactly what you did. The coyote in question was causing no harm and you ran it over with your car. Then you come on a public forum to brag about your conquest.

Coyete killers words: thats what i thought after RUNNING THE HELL over a coyote on my way back from the er this am (2:30) (my eardrum ruptured..havent a clue why but that'll wake a person up!) but yea the effer was in the middle of wiremtn (ash) coming up the hill (almost to the 15 mile per hr sign, and he looked at me,and i reved it...lol. (sorry if youre a PETA person,but im not ok with these things eating house pets,or possible getting to our little girl. so sorry wyl-e-coyote,Smush got the last laugh...hehe

I understand the person who ran the coyote over was pissed that it at a 'neighbors' cat/dog. They need to eat to(sorry voo), but what you did was WRONG! I dont agree with what you did AT ALL! Especailly up here in San O. Most of the animals used to live in what used to be an empty field where they had 'homes' and then got completly uprooted from where they knew they could get food. They have to find a whole new area to sleep and hunt....unfortunetly it was smush, the cat, still doesnt mean for you to run them over with your car intentionally killing it! If you knew it was that particular coyote who did, great, call the effing game warden and have them come out to deal with the situation.

I hope she gets fined and or jail time...she needs to suffer the consequenses for her stupidity! animal cruelity is NOT taken lightly no matter the breed....or species...

Most of the time, when an animal is struck by a vehicle, it is NOT killed on contact (unless it's a rodent like a squirrel or rabbit), it suffers a slow agonising death. Either from organs being forced out of orifices, internal bleeding, hemorraging all over the road, or the brain herniating due to swelling from head trauma. Again, this is something she should really be proud of. 

momOFpapya&DUKE. . im sorry if you feel like we are ganging up on you just understand that this is not ok !! what part of we live on a effin preserve do u not get there so many dif animals running around to me its neat i get to call this place home were the beach is down the road and the mtn's are up the road ! us living here means we left these coyotes homeless look around all these houses being buitl for us is kind of cutting into their space they deal with it ! so its time we do to

I dont go walking at night with my dogs cause I dont wanna tempt them caus they do need to eat. This way their home LONG before it was ours!!! Some people just dont think before they act! I have a great love for all animals and it breaks my heart to think of any of them suffering! 

It is about as smart as someone suggesting we shoot them the other day on another thread. If they were here the base would be over run with things like rabbits, rats, and mice. I hate that they have hurt pets and everything trust me. The fact that they are out during the day so much hunting and everything is a sign they are struggling. My guess is all the new housing is taking up what was their homes and hunting area.

I'm just going to throw this out there, even though I highly doubt you (coyote hunter) will understand the difference here. Yes, coyotes can be dangerous. They are hunters. But do you even realize why they are starting to stalk home developments and "overstep their boundaries"?? Because we have invaded their land. As more homes and developments come up, more and more species are driven out of their habitat. They are forced to find new homes and look for new food to eat because our new homes have driven their original choice for dinner away. I get that they are a threat, but it's because we are a threat to them. There is a big difference between a coyote stalking your house and you revving your car up and running one over. The difference is that the coyote stalks prey for food, not just for the kicks he gets out of watching something die. They don't go around with a malicious intent to kill and flee. He kills, eats, shares with his pack and survives another day in the urban sprawl that was once his habitat. Don't go all "survival of the fittest" on me either. I grew up a farmer. I know the difference between being sick and twisted and killing for food and safety. You are a sick idiot for actually thinking what you did was right and just. 

momOFpapya&DUKE~ You opened up this can of worms by coming on here and braging about what you did. You locked the topic because you didn't get the high 5's you had excepted. (Except for RDH3 who only commented on your "poor car") It is sick no matter how you dish it. You got pleasure from killing something. I find that strange. Not just a little something either like a ant or a bug or spider. You are bragging about killing a dog sized animal. It's all just a little too bizzare for even me to want to try to understand this morning.
