Has anyone gone with their husbands? Did you go through Military One Source? If not through them, who did you go through? My husband fuucked up big time and we're looking into how to fix it. We're never needed couseling before so I need the 411. Thanks in advance.

I did only myself, went to one source and they gave me a list of providers to choose from.. 

We went through Tricare with this therapist.... link title It was billed under my name but we both went and spoke. Both my husband and i really liked her. 

Okay, this is pretty unrelated to the post...but thank you SO Much for going to counseling. I may not know the whole story, but the fact that you're working on it as a couple is wonderful to see. Mad props to you! :) 

when I called tricare about marriage counseling I was told they didn't offer it so we had to go through military one source. Tricare told me they only offer individual and family counseling (my family was just my husband and I ) I didn't understand it but I went through military one source and they were very helpful :) 

Thanks everyone for the advice and PM's. It is definately something we're going to do. It is just heartbreakingly depressing how in a few minutes someone can jeopordize a marriage, and how long it seems like it will take to repair it, if ever.

Credo and onesource are your option for this. If you need these numbers call 760-725-9051 and they will provide you with these numbers. Its free to you. One source now has 12 sessions for free and Credo has a world of things they offer from counseling to retreats all free.

Yeah that's what I was saying, if you call and ask for "marriage counseling" they will tell you they do not cover that- only family counseling. So we just went through militay onesource 

What I was meaning is that you can still go through Tricare.....the link I posted is an amazing counselor....and it is billed under your name to Tricare, but your husband can go along also.
