What areas, places, people, restaurants, dentists, etc should I stay away from being new to the area. Thanks. 

well last year my hubbys battalion told the guys they were not allowed to go into the shopping center right outside the back gate (where popeyes is) because of gang activity 

I've lived here my whole life and off the top of my head I can't really think of anywhere in general that you shouldn't go... SE San Diego isn't the best but unless you live down there most people don't want to do the drive. PM me if you have any questions or need a friend :)

Stay away from Fam Mart down in San Diego. flooded with trouble Better yet if you're not familiar with an area it's better to stay away from them especially at night

We went in told them what we wanted and stood our ground like any other dealership. I think if you are a single Marine or easily talked into things you need to bring someone with you that isn't TO ANY DEALERSHIP! The Naval Hospital on base. To each his own! I was born there 4lbs 4oz 30 years ago and have always gone there for everything. Guess what?! I am still alive and kicking!!! :) Smile care is expensive but convenient for me. If you can find a better place I would if you are open to Mon-Fri normal working hours. Most aren't open on Sat. BE OPEN MINDED AND YOU WILL LOVE IT HERE!! SAME GOES FOR ANYWHERE NEW THAT YOU EVER MOVE TO! :)
