I don't like either of them but Romney is the lesser of two evils. Ron Paul would be the best choice

RedBird --- 12 years ago -

Ron Paul would be the best choice
I agree with you a 100%

YouReallyThinkSo --- 12 years ago -

I understand how people want Ron Paul, but you know he wont win. Never has America elected someone who wasnt democrat or republican. Why not do more research and make your vote actually count instead of throwing it away? I know you dont like ether of the two but what if that was your only choice which would you pick? If you vote for Ron Paul you are basically throwing your vote away.

RedBird --- 12 years ago -

my father says when you vote for a third party president that means the guy you would of liked just lost the chance for presidency, I will probably end up voting for a new president and no not ron paul, but why go into the normal? Why not challenge society? Why must we conform just because? what? We never had a president that was third party. Well we also never had a Black President until Obama. What about that? All I'm saying is, you should vote for who ever you want, no one will ever know and what difference will it really make? Yeah, maybe the guy who we really needed did get in, but what does that matter? I mean look at obama, everyone say he was going to fix/change Bush's supposed screw up.... really he just made it worse lol only my personal opinion, but then again isn't that voting in a not shell. YOUR OPINION!?!?!? Who cares if someone votes third party you should be happy they are even voting. I say do what you want, vote, don't vote, vote for obama, don't vote for him, either way your making a difference. If you don't vote then the people who "care" actually get the guy they want in presidency... Or is that really true??? We should spend more time questioning things rather than just doing the norm.... Why? Because that's what we were taught? No in the end do what you feel....

penny --- 12 years ago -

^^ So who are you voting for?

RedBird --- 12 years ago -

Well when I mentioned that I agreed with Ron Paul I was told that I need to research between Obama and Romney. Which I have done, I've also watched not all but most of their nonsense debates. I'm voting, apparently opinion doesn't matter.... so I do what I do with my daughter, I don't say who I vote for because, that's my decision not peoples of the "public" decision? Then all they do is critique you on how your choice is "wrong" NO-ONES CHOICE IS WRONG!

JAMS --- 12 years ago -

Ron Paul was to quick to let everyone know he absolutely does NOT support Romney.

Interesting...

AZbound --- 12 years ago -

If Paul is on the ballot I will vote for him. I am not throwing my vote away. He could end up winning if everyone stopped thinking its impossible.
If he's not, I will vote for Romney. Again...I don't like him either but he's better than Obama.

ooorah69P --- 12 years ago -

I'll vote Ron Paul if he's on the ballot. If he isn't, i'll vote Libertarian Gary Johnson he'll be on the ballot.

YouReallyThinkSo --- 12 years ago -

Im not saying its wrong, Im not saying dont vote for who you believe in. Im just saying you vote for someone who is not republican or democrat its like throwing your vote away. Thats my opinion. Your free to yours. It would be nice if it would change but its not going to.

GardenWitch --- 12 years ago -

Obama.

Romney may be better for the military machine, but the military machine NEEDS to go on a diet.

The debates so far have only demonstrated everything that is WRONG within the two parties. They are not going to work together and will continue to butt heads over everything just to be petty and vindictive towards each other.

No matter WHO wins this election, the American people will lose.

CivMP --- 12 years ago -

a vote for a third party candidate is a vote for the incumbent, and by extension, a person who doesnt vote is voting against a viable challenger.......

we need to "clean house" now .... and IMMEDIATELY make it known that the "silent majority" will not put up with anymore games....

Momma2Fur --- 12 years ago -

My ballot (mail-in) includes:

Obama
Stein
Hoefling
Romney
Johnson
and....
Roseanne Barr (w...t...f?! lol)

chingao --- 12 years ago -

Does it really matter since your vote doesn't have anything to do with who takes office??

namenotalreadytaken --- 12 years ago -

My thoughts exactly

CorpsmanWife --- 12 years ago -

@Momma2Fur I am totally voting for Roseanne. I loved her show. ;)

Maleficent --- 12 years ago -

I'm writing in big bird.

penny --- 12 years ago -

I forgot Roseanne was running!!!!! OMG I still over those reruns on tv! One of the funniest shows!

sweetcheeks --- 12 years ago -

So says the women who have men still active duty. You're hypocrites.

Two years ago, I posted that the military would be down grading. I was belittled, of course, and told that I was wrong. Now, we have men and women being separated and guess the f---- what??? The VA is having issues with processing payments to everyone this semester. It was a total of 13% increase, which is a pretty big deal. Funny enough, my husband was forced out two years ago, and now has received a letter 6 months before his official separation, wanting an inspection to ask him if he'll reenlist.

Overall, they have and are still getting rid of many military men. But they're about to instate a military police state, along with a couple of wars. Iran being the biggest one. Sadly, many military men and their spouses only follow mainstream media. DO NOT for one second think you have to vote for the lesser evil. Your votes are hopeless, as we are controlled by the big bankers. If you research (doubt most will...) you will find that we are headed towards a one world bank/currency/government.

Then again...I'm f-cking crazy. Just wait another year and see, though. The dollar is being devalued and we are basically owned by china. The UK told our own congress that they no longer have control over the military; they do...just continue to live in ignorance and surprise!!!

Maleficent --- 12 years ago -

Whoever told you that you were crazy for saying the military was downsizing is dumb. Everyone had to know that as we ended wars we wouldnt need te numbers we had. The rest of the stuff you said... Ok...

Lillyloo --- 12 years ago -

Ended wars? I hardly think so. We still occupy Afghan, iraq, and libya. The label for "war" has just changed. We were never in an official war, though. Just invasion and police said country.

chelleydi77 --- 12 years ago -

We have a military presence in a LOT of countries... Not seeing your point...

GardenWitch --- 12 years ago -

My husband has his 20. Plus I have another 10 with my ex, also a Marine. I have a pretty good understanding of what happens when massive numbers of military personal are no longer needed. I also know we cannot support the military at these levels if we ever expect there to be a solid recovery for the economy.

If Iran makes a move, we won't be in it by ourselves or begging for other countries to assist us.

RedBird --- 12 years ago -

I got my absentee ballot in yesterday, I'm an official voter, oh one thing everyone has forgotten, if you are registered here in Cali, this is a big BLUE state. So any vote against Obama will count, doesn't matter what the vote is or who the vote is for, as long as it's against Obama it will help go towards a lost for this state for him. That's for "those" who are against Obama, and those for Obama, by all means vote for him again.... like I've said before it's all an opinion, some think Obama has been great and he's done us an incredible job in office, others disagree and think that he has made the debt higher, down graded our military and ALL our jobs in general. But if you really care vote, if you don't think it matters then don't vote, either way if YOU feel like it matters then it matters. If YOU feel like it doesn't matter then it doesn't matter....

Fuego --- 12 years ago -

Did the 2nd Debate change any minds?

RedBird --- 12 years ago -

Not if you already sent in your absentee ballot it didn't lol

Fuego --- 12 years ago -

Haha, yeah. But maybe some are changing their minds, even though they have already voted. I also wonder how many undecided voters are out there still.
