I never understood why people get so excited about meeting celebrities. 

I've been star struck twice. Once with Mario Lopez (drool) and once with Julie Strain (again, drool)

It might be fun for kids though.

Believe me I am not excited. I won't be there. But I thought others might like to know about it. Especially those with teenage boys? Not sure what the Expendables is rated, but might be kind of cool for them to meet the stars of the movie and then see the movie.

I didn't mean you in particular. I just never understood it. I've run into quite a few celebrities and pro athletes and haven't even made a double take. I know a few pro athletes and they actually prefer to be left alone when they're out an about.

Very true; they just want to be like anybody else.. but sometimes they cant.. thats why people say so and so was a biotch or a a-hole.. because of that very reason they dont want to be bothered when they are trying to enjoy their day... they dont want to have to sit at home or go out late late at night or early in the morning to avoid people LOL

Very true. I was at Pechanga about 3-4 years ago playing black jack and Chone Figgins (Former Angels Player) sat down to play at my table. He said hi, as did I and we played for a bit. He made small talk, so I bs'd with him for a few and then a couple guys came to our table. Right away "OMG you're Chone Figgins. What do you think about this trade, what do you think about that? Can I take a pic, can I get your autograph?" He stayed for about 5 more minutes and left. I felt bad for him and of course as soon as he walked away that guy says "What an Ahole. He should be happy we recognized him." Needless to say, I changed tables too.

Will definitely get them some local press. I hope people on base don't act the fool. I'll check PYS a few days after looking for autographed stuff from these actors. By the way...who the hell is speidi?? Like in Spider Man??

this is so true Kobe was having a day with his lil girls at dave and busters (I didn't even realize who he was til all these people started coming around to talk and try and get photos and autographs) he kept telling this 1 guy he was having a day with his kids and it was all about them and he wasn't signing or taking pics cause it was a day for him to spend with his kids this guy was still pushing for a pic it was so dumb I felt so bad for him
