Typically.. one does not ask a girlfriend "are you allowed to live in base housing" when the vast majority of the time that is a BIG NO.. Your situation seems very unique, therefore housing may be working with your.. However.. There really are a lot of people out there that don't get the military.
I didn't call anyone names.. or insult you. Your boyfriend was the one that came on calling names. He didn't bother to clarify and ask me if I was trying to insult you.. He just assumed. You had the questions.. not me. Anything said about losing, or not rating BAH was a warning.. and a very valid one with the lack of information that was given.
Granite. that is absolutely disrespectful and completely proves me to be right in having a lack of faith in humanity. I hope to meet you one day in person because I highly doubt that you would say these things to me or her in person. I hope one day you get the chance to prove me wrong.

You really should have thicker skin.. being a Marine and all.. I would think you would be able to ignore someone who is intentionally trying to stir the pot.
By the way, as some of these ladies have stated, you may be working with some of their husbands...I wonder how they'll take to the new kid calling their wives bitches for NO good reason? As for what I've read, you are the one being rude and a little dramatic imo.
OP and boyfriend...IMO your original post was very vague but people answered accordingly about places to live and information about living on base based off the information YOU provided. The first people to be rude were both you Marines. If you talked to housing then you know what they said to you so there's no need to get defensive. People simply asked if you were getting married because that's the typical scenario...no one except you knew your situation was so rare.
And as far as base housing goes I like Wire Mtn the best because of the 3br 2bath, 1 story house with a fenced in backyard. Pacific View is also a nice house layout. I would suggest to go on Lincoln Military Housing's site, pull up all the neighborhoods and look at all the different layouts/bells and whistles to find what suits you guys best
Ui here deluz housing is good. But i know for sure that wire mountain 2 housing is good and has ac. But i guse it is where ever you want to go. I hope you find the stay here on cp good. But as for me i live south mesa 2 but we have no ac but it is a good housing area despite what some may say. If you have any question about south mesa 2 you can ask. Welcome to camp pendleton
Then he should fit right in with the rest of radio (based on others opinions of radio bn) lol. (( just making an observation ))
Haha I was just thinking that. Unfortunately for him, he is an E5. Rad BN treats their Sgts SO well. Just SO well. No seriously. RUN AWAY. The treatment my husband and his friends in Rad Bn received was the deciding factor in NONE of them re-enlisting this year. And before coming to Rad Bn, they were going to be lifers.
