hey, this is a search for info plus a question whether anyone else feels the same as I. Plus, I don't want to argue on beliefs or anything, so if what I'm saying goes completely against anything you believe, then I'm fine with that. I don't want to make any problems, just in search of other Christians that I could talk to about this:
Ok....I am a Christian, but I am totally sick of religion and church. Is this wrong? I am wanting to write to my pastor from back home about this, but I'm so afraid to be sucked into his opinion of what the Bible says about meeting in Church. I know it's important for my children to learn the Bible. I think it's important to my husband too, or he's just agreeing because he knows it's important to me. Yeah....got to work on that, but that's another subject. I know it's important for me too to keep studying the Scriptures with other believers....but I am just sick of church groups. I know it is good to worship together and be a team in the Lord, but no matter what church group you choose and no matter how well meaning they are, they develop their own community sort of....like a click. I don't want to get into that again. I was raised in a family of religious tradition, even though my parents wouldn't admit to that and that's how I see with every church family. I would like to think myself as open-minded to other life-styles, and at the same time hold true to what God says about certain things. I will be honest in what I believe, not sugar coating anything, but that doesn't mean I believe I'm perfect. I have no right to judge, just to speak the name of Christ and say what He says about things.
Anyway, does anyone feel the same? Are you a Christian but just plain sick of church??

Oh yeah, forgot the main reason of the topic. I'm looking for on-base Bible-based meeting groups.
