My daughters go to north terrace and its a good school. It is newly remodled. The principle is great and my daughter loves her 4th grade teacher Mr. Phillips. The only con if you consider this a con is they do allow kids from off base come in. This has not been a proble .

One of mine goes to north terrace and the other goes to Santa Marg. both are fine but they are going up to k-8 next year. I don't like that.

I've heard other people say stuff about off base kids going to the schools but I find it kind of offensive that this could be considered a negative thing or a "con" a parents career doesn't make the kids different. There is nothing wrong with the kids from off base and many of them are military as well anyways. I feel bad for the kids that people look down on them like that. I mean honestly how woul you feel of they were like "but they let those military kids go to our schools...." They're kids. Who cares?

Both of my daughters go to North Terrace Ele. We've been there for 2 years. We've not had any academic problems, in fact, one child advanced and the other child did a great improvement from when they attended a school out in town. I work full-time so I don't spend as much time as a SAHM would with their child on their homework and even with the student-teacher ratio niether of those factors have effected my chidrens ability to excel academically. Also, when an issue arised with another student I notified the principle and he was prompt to resolve the situation.

The 3 elementary schools on base are going to 7th grade this coming school year and 8th grade the year after. And all 3 schools are getting new principals.

Gator5 --- 12 years ago -

How do you know all three schools are getting new principals?

Maleficent --- 12 years ago -

BC the principles retired.

Gator5 --- 12 years ago -

Only two schools have Principals retiring.
