I've been to Slater 50/50 a couple times, the burgers are huge and super fresh. You customize what you want on it and it's a fun environment. I'd recommend giving it a try =] 

I've been once...it was pretty good. I found my burger a bit salty tasting, because of the mixed-in bacon content.

It's a nice "new thing to try" but I wouldn't put it on my regular list.

We went there last night. I thought it was pretty good. I "made my own burger" with a 50/50 patty cooked well done. The meat was still moist and had somewhat of a smokey taste which i found to be phenomenal.

Since it was my birthday they gave me their "Bacon Brownie". I'm not a bacon fan so I kinda scraped that off, LoL. The brownie was very moist and chewey.

Overall it was a successful visit with my family and friends :)

I think we'll try Corvette's Diner for my daughters birthday tonight (yes we share a bday)!! 

I have been here and its excellent. I went to a new place called Hodads in Oceanbeach on Sunday. The burgers were huge and awesome. Best I have ever eaten 

Oh we LOVE Hoodads!! We go there ALL the time esp in the summer!! I love their onion rings!! Customer service always sucks but what to you expect when you've got potheads 'serving' you, LoL. We go there for the food not the service. My kids always eat in the front seat of the van they've got inside. 

I had the 50/50 mix of onion rings and fries it was awesome. Our waiter was nice but yep they are all potheads/surfers/skaters lol
