This morning I ran out of gas on my way to work just as I was pulling into the parking lot. I am wondering if anyone has used the service where they bring you gas? I know they only charge for the gas cost itself but how long did it take them to get to you? Also, does it matter if I am in Colorado right now and not in California where the policy was purchased? Thank you in advance.

I've used them for locking myself out of my car.
They call someone in the area you are in to bring it to you so times can vary depending on who they call and how busy they are. It should not matter where you are located in comparison to where you live.
I've had to call them to tow my vehicle once too. The timing belt broke while I was driving. The towing part they only tow 10 miles away before they charge a fee for additional mileage.

I've used them and had a really good experience. The only difference from the above poster was that i was told they tow to the nearest mechanic on their list to where you are. If you want to go somewhere else it's on your dime.

I've used them a couple of times. Been extremely useful every time. One of the times they towed over 10 miles to a mechanic of my choice and I never paid anything. Doesn't matter where you are, they just call a contracted company in the area.

I had to use them again Mother's Day for locking myself out. Then they told me they only paid up to $50.00 for locksmith fees.

So maybe the reason they said 10 miles was based on the tow truck company's fee, since they only cover up to a certain amount.
