Trying to shop around, and deal with the fact that on base is limited (really wanted FiOS! Lol) and I think I've narrowed down to DirecTV/Exede satellite or Cox cable.

Directv has some deals going on right now for tv package that is normally $80 per month for $51 per month for first year and slight discount 2nd year. They have a bundle package deal that I get $10 off per month for first year if I get Internet from Exede satellite (15GB middle package is $79).

I've heard a lot of bad things about Cox cable/Internet does anyone have experience?

I've never heard of excede being on base. In June when we moved in it was cox, dish or directv for TV and AT&T or cox for Internet. Cox is better for Internet but double the price of AT&T. For what we pay, AT&T is worth it. I refuse to pay double.

We had directv but I decided to stop using cable an now we just have Hulu and Netflix and I love paying only $14-$15/month!
