I am doing a research paper on work places. Is it possible to ask where do you work, and do you enjoy your job? TIA

LejeuneBound --- 12 years ago -

I work at a hospital (for privacy, I won't say which one), and I'm an RN; my specialty is med/oncology but I also do float pool and work in telemetry, med/surg, or post partum when they need me. I really enjoy my job and the hospital I work at.

I work at a spa cover manufacture, so in other wards, we make and build covers for spa's and Jacuzzi's. I run the company. I'm the only person who work's here besides the cutter, sowers, and the production creator. I like my job because I can work within the hours my daughter goes to school. I come into work at 7:15 everyday and I get off around 2:30. I get paid decent pay. It's laid back work and I'm essentially my own boss. I have an owner that over sees the business, but he's an owner so he only comes in about 10 hours a week. My work is flexible with my daughter. If I have any problems or issues they let me go home and take care of her. I can bring her into work while I work if I can't find care for her. Luckily she is 7-years-old so she doesn't get into things and she goes to school while I'm at work. Overall what I like best about my job is; I'm my own boss, hours are flexible, the work is laid back, and I get decent to good pay for what I do.

I work for a large non-profit organization (community based) there are some days I love it and some days I hate it -

CONS: it is very political and competitive and the company gets sued a LOT which generally drags us into it...
PROS: the mission is focused on improving several different communities in San Diego, there is a lot of room for growth within the company.

Well, up until a couple of weeks ago, I worked at a hotel (we're moving soon - the only reason I quit). I absolutely LOVE the hotel industry :)

Keeping this short and simple:

I work in a firm as a financial stock analyst. Basically I study the stock market and advise clients on where to invest. Of course my job is more extensive than what I stated but in a nutshell that about sums it up.

Pros: My pay; opportunities in traveling the world (last year we went to London, this year we went to Canada, next year we are going to either Singapore or Australia); Health Insurance (I have a better dental and vision plan than what Tri-Care covers); and lastly the benefit of receiving paid sick and vacation days.

Cons: The distance I commute back and forth; the hours can be a bit exhausting; the job itself can be very stressful; and of course my boss is a late 40's "typical OC" female, LoL.
