I'm not sure if this is well known around here or not, but I have been here for 9 months, and nobody told me about it, so I figured I would share :) There is a grocery store on mission called Value+/El Super, and they have produce deal every Wed. and Meat deal every Thurs. It is seriously the cheapest produce ever. Todays deals were
7lbs of canteloup for .99c
7lbs of cabbage for .99c
7lbs of waermelon for.99c
3lbs of limes for .99c
4lbs of bananas for .99c.
7lbs of onions for .99c
2lbs of roma tomatos for .99c
2 heads of colliflour for .99c
5lbs or carrots for .99c
This is just a small example, there was much more on sale...Every Wed the sale changes, but it is always this good! Meat is thursday, and it is good as well...I love saving $$

lol, you dont have to get the full 7lbs...you can get 1lb for .14c! Its so cheap
