Today was a black widow... right in front of my stairs... sucker is HUGE. Luckily my hubby will be home soon... I'm too scared to kill it.
I know that since its getting warmer, they'll be coming out more. But is there anything that can be done?!

we just moved from South Mesa 2 and only had this issue in the garage... never in the house. We also have a 1 year old... this doesn't make me feel like he's very safe!

Any ladies have any luck with some of those perimeter sprays??? I'm deathly afraid of spiders!

Call housing they will spray your home and what they use to spray is water based so kid and pet friendly

Vinegar mixed with water in a spray bottle works at least for awhile, nice for areas where your little one is since its harmless to us.

You're so scared of it but didn't kill it?! So you want it loose in your house?? Lol
Call maintence & they will have pest control spray.

Stuart Mesa has nothing on spiders. Lol, we came here from 29 Palms. Once you have a spider the size of your hand that jumps than thats a spider, lol. My husband has a nice hole on his leg where he was bite by a recluse. Those suckers are nasty and it was common to come across more than one in your house on a regular basis. I had housing come every 6 months to spray and it helped.

And my husband was sick for days, it was the nastiest bite I had ever seen, and it took for ever to heal.

Thanks ladies, they haven't been around much. Next one warants a call to housing! Yuck. My hubby was bitten by a funnel web when he was younger, luckily no permanent damage was done, so I'm super careful about spiders.

seen my first Tarantula on the side of the road like 2 months ago...I swear!
or maybe it was some other BIG a** Spider!

We had a huge female Brown Widow, along with about 6 egg sacks when we moved into Stuart Mesa... we had housing come and spray. Plus my husband took a torch and aersol to the female brown widow..... we weren't taking any chances....lol
